"Scam company do not use" Posted 2024-02-17
Pros: Nothing, SeatGeek had my money for 2 months and never delivered the tickets. The assured me they would get me tickets as I was assisting a one legged DAV around Sanford Stadium.
Cons: Paid for Georgia Bulldog football tickets 9/23 for an 11/11/23 game.tickets confirmed but not delivered ,said they would be there 24 hours before the game. Traveled from Boston to Georgia with a disabled vet. Tickets never delivered missed game. SeatGeek had other tickets on the site, I offered to take single tickets, they resold my ticket for more money and cost me $3000 in travel expenses, not to mention ruining a DAV's veteran day. SeatGeek knew about the dav's situation and let me know that being a disabled vet meant nothing to SeatGeek and that I would be getting a refund. Tough luck.
Overall: Have complaints going with the Better Business Bureau, the BBB gives SeatGeek an F rating and it's obvious that SeatGeek is a scam company.

"Impossible to get a refund when show rescheduled" Posted 2023-04-06
Pros: Easy to get tickets, that's it, they have very poor real help.
Cons: This business is a big mess of gobbly gook! Bought tickets using my credit card for the Stevie Nicks concert in Houston and 24 hours before the show, I was notified it was rescheduled. Wanted to see her and tried to make the rescheduled date work but couldn't. After at least 8 emails back and forth, they agreed to at least allow 100% of the paid amount to be saved for future use. When I tried to use it a few months later, the system informed me I had to buy tickets at least the same amount as original tickets. No tickets were available at the same amount. There were lots for less tho. I ended up spending another $150 plus the original $585 to just use my $585. Now, a week before that show, it is rescheduled for a full year from the planned date. I asked for a refund and they only refunded the second amount, not the original $585. Such BS! After all this crap with them and their ridiculous rules, I am still out $585. They keep saying "so sorry" but refuse to do what's right! I will warn as many people as I can on as many sites as possible to avoid any dealings with these thieves.
Overall: Terrible... frustrating... nonsensical... arbitrary... tight with my money, confusing policies and no flexibility.
