Safety Reports

Pros: Very easy to organize photos and apply them to the standard in a very low drag format. This software makes our reports far more standardized and professional.

Cons: You have to login to the desktop to add a company. would like to be able to add a company in the app.

Overall: Very good and we have added more users through the organization. Very helpful in gathering details about various sites and reporting them to a central system for data collection purposes.

Pros: I love the ease of use and the professional, comprehensive reports the app generates. I have received compliments about the reports from customers.

The staff at Safety Reports is very responsive, even with the time difference between Hawaii and Nebraska. They have always been responsive whenever we had challenges.

If you're looking for a great product for an affordable price, this is the one to get.

I highly recommend it.

Cons: They have been trying to improve the size of the pictures when the report is generated. However, the user can manually modify the report in word form before sending it out.

Overall: I have been happy with this product since incorporating it at my last company and with my current. Unfortunately, I have not had the opportunity to use it as much as I would like, since I was promoted to an administrative position. However, my team continues to use it.

Pros: My favorite thing about Safety Reports is the safety auditing app. It is very detailed, easy to navigate, and beneficial to a seasoned Safety professional or someone just getting in the industry.

Cons: One thing I would change is when you take a picture it stores only on that app and not the phones camera roll. If there would be someway to keep that separate, it would be nice.

Overall: Overall, I recommend and take Safety reports with me everywhere I go. It not only holds the company accountable but it also keeps the auditor on their toes. One of the best functions is where you can actually get an explanation of the OSHA regulation. Sometimes it helps navigate the conversation in a different direction.

Pros: I have been in the safety industry for 27 years and have never had a better tool to conduct safety inspections with. I am an OSHA outreach trainer in both General Industry and Construction and Safety Reports makes it simple to go through comprehensive checklists as I audit with the ability to include photos of potential violations within the report that is created post-inspection. Another great aspect is that the app allows you to view the actual standards so if you're not certain about something you can double-check it. This component alone also helps support you for those clients who might want to debate with you! The Technical Support Team is incredibly helpful and always available.

Cons: I cannot actually come up with any cons related to Safety Reports.

Overall: Hands down the best inspection app on the market! The versatility, support and professional final report that is generated post-inspection always receives praise from the clients I use Safety Reports to inspect for.

Pros: I like everything about this software. It's very user friendly, adaptable to any device and eliminates the need to keep up with hard copy inspection checklists. I also like the reporting features, tracking and trending data as well as the ability to have our own forms put into the app for use as checklists on our safety audits.

Cons: There's really nothing I can think of that I could recommend for improvement.

Overall: I conducted a pilot a few years ago with only two users, including myself. The software was used on one of our construction projects. Today, we are using the Safety Reports app on all of our projects with over 90 users.

Pros: Support and upgrades. I have used SR with a previous employer as a user. Now that I am the Admin. I see more of what is involved. I have unmatched support and customer service. I appreciate SR is always working to make it better.

Cons: Forms app should be able to complete forms not just read.

Overall: Great. I Will stay with SR as long as i have a job.

Pros: The Report scheduler allows our Sub users to stay on top of the open items list. Analytical charts and custom checklist help them to understand the gaps and fill them. But most of all very supportive staff.

Cons: Having to download multiple mobile apps gets to be a pain but we manage.

Overall: My team and I used the apps everyday and it make our work so much easier. Again the staff is extremely help and kind. That are top shelf for sure.

Pros: Safety Reports helped our organization develop an internal mock survey program using CMS based criteria. The citation tag tracking and reporting metrics have helped us identify internal risk and develop effective mitigation strategies or plans of correct.

Cons: Ideally we would prefer the ability to combine inspection reports into one report. A customized probability option would be great to include in the inspections and reporting.

Overall: Safety Reports has assisted our organization with the ability to effectively conduct mock surveys internally. The reporting metrics and data analysis functions are impressively powerful. The citation tag search capabilities in the Long Term Care Facility CMS Checklist is a game-changer and has streamlined our internal survey and inspection processes. Overall, with the implementation of Safety Reports, our organization has recognized overwhelming proficiencies in our inspections and has significantly improved our corrective action tracking program. I recommend Safety Reports to all my Risk Director colleagues.

Pros: The software is user friendly but is sufficiently sophisticated to allow us to dig into the data we need allowing us to understand the challenges our field associates face each day.

Cons: There are some data entry points that the apps require which we don't use. Not a problem, they just add a small amount of time for the user.

Overall: The folks at Safety Reports have created a great experience for our team. Their customer service has been invaluable to us.

Pros: It transformed my safety inspection experience from being an old school clipboard commando to an innovative safety professional that can inspect a facility, provide on the spot coaching for corrective actions to my site guides, attaching photos, and editing from a single platform. It has value streamed my entire process. What used to take me hours to days on the back end to complete a safety inspection transcribing hand written notes; formatting into a PowerPoint presentation, embedding a Plan-Do-Check-Act spreadsheet for accountability now is completed in minutes.

Cons: I cannot toggle between OSHA 1910 and 1926 standards. It doesn't happen often, but occasionally I may have to inspect general contractors, I need both standards at once or I will be forced to conduct two inspection.

Overall: I love it. I have recommended it to fellow Safety Officers, Safety Compliance Officers and Safety Training Consultants to help them graduate from clipboard commandos to laptop liaisons. (I made that last term up).
