About RxConnect
RxConnect is a web-based pharmacy solution specifically designed to meet the medication dispensing needs of inpatient hospitals. Its easy-to-use interface allows clinicians to send pharmacy orders directly within their EHR, electronically connecting order entry with pharmacies to seamlessly receive and provide medication. RxConnect supports dispensing capabilities with automated dispensing machines (ADMs) and connects with the electronic medication administration record (eMAR) to provide closed-loop medication management. Clinicians can review and manage drug interactions, allergies and patient-specific dosing via a clinical rules engine. Drug disease, alcohol interactions as well as lab and tobacco, pregnancy, lactation and general precautions and black box warnings are also provided. Inventory, formulary, progress notes, labs integration and intervention documentation, as well as pharmacy notes, are all included.

"Destroyed Trust" Posted 2024-01-10
Pros: Nothing. No. Completely took advantage of my trust. Only payment is bank transfer. Complete scam. Scam alert.
Cons: They destroyed my trust in them when I called to pause my order, and they then shipped it three days later anyway.
My vet changed the medicine requirements as our needs changed, so I called to pause the order. I told them I would follow up when to place the order. They asked how long and I told them it would probably be a few days before I knew.
Instead, they took the opportunity to bill, charge, and ship without my authorization or even confirming with me first.Overall: They destroyed my trust in them when I called to pause my order, and they then shipped it three days later anyway.

Pros: Nothing. I tried to rate this zero stars, but 1 is low as you go.
Cons: Everything! Too much manipulation of dose, directions, needed
Click this first, or maybe this. Who knows? Lots of red indicating something is not right. I will take Epic or Cerner ANY day before this !Overall: Awful. Still trying to learn the bugs and how to solve . I have worked with over 18 order entry systems...been a pharmacist since the dawn of computerized OE (over 40 yrs!) And This Is The Worst!!!!

"Mediocre at best" Posted 2021-12-26
Pros: The integrated 3rd party search tool is very quick & accurate. The processing queues are flush with the same info for every script.
Cons: The system is unintuitive when moving on to the next screen during processing. Some basic functions like transferring in meds from a different retail Rx or selecting DAW can be tedious & should be streamlined more for the end user.
Overall: The OS could be more user-friendly. The display should either get a facelift or scale back to a faster, minimal screen.
