Knorr is a plugin that adds intensity and edge to a monophonic low frequency audio source (like a bass). The algorithm adds overtones to an existing sound in a way that isn’t possible with ordinary distortion or filtering. The underlying algorithm uses a combination of filtering, amplitude- and frequency modulation to process incoming audio. Knorr is developed with bass sounds in mind, but can be used on any monophonic sound source as long as there is audio content available in the low mids. This is a free web tool that allows you to remove the vocals from a song to create a karaoke version of it. How good the results will be depends on how the track is recorded. If any instruments are centered, they will also get removed. The vocals are removed by using the OOPS (Out Of Phase Stereo) effect. The OOPS effect relies on that most songs have the the vocals perfectly centered while the instruments are panned slightly to the left and right channel. The two channels are then subtracted from each other, and since the vocals are as present on the left channel as the right channel, they will cancel each other out and dissapear. This tool is specifically made to be used with voice recordings and will reduce unwanted sounds from the recordings while trying to maintain a good audio quality.

DC1A is the little brother of the compression monster DC8C. I've taken a few of my favorite settings from DC8C and tried to make it work in a two control context. Sound wise it's comparable to the PUNCH mode in DC8C but offers a few additional features, such as negative ratio and stereo unlink. I've always wanted to do a compressor with just an input and output knob, a compressor that just works, gentle, faithful, from almost invisible, smooth leveling to heavy pumping with a nice crunchy saturation and punchy enough to treat drums with. DC1A looks like a one trick pony. But don't get fooled by the lack of additional controls. You may be surprised on how many different material this little thing works. DC1A has a few tricks up its sleeve: negative (over) compression, parallel (New York style) compression, option to compress left and right channel independently (via the DUAL MONO switch), peak and RMS compression (RELAXED switch on) and DEEP activates a high pass filter.
