Restoro

Pros: The only Pro is to avoid Restoro. Avoid contacting them and keep your money! Never pay them anything!

Cons: The Restoro app is useless and so is the so called service Restoro thinks it is giving. I did not like being lied to about the false malwares & trojans on my computer! I did not like the high sales pressure by the Restoro staff. And, after a so-called (unnecessary) service, I did not like it that even the tech asked if I could pay an additional $99.00. This company lies about its 60 day money back guarantee. They do not refund the money at all!

Overall: My overall experience is that I was scammed! I was shown false information while a staff member came onto my computer! I was lied to about the condition of my excellently running computer. What I was told was done to get me to pay more money to Restoro. They are a fraudulent company. Even after I cancelled the Premium Plan and uninstalled their useless app, they still have neglected to refund me the fee and it has been over 30 days since I cancelled! This company is not trustworthy.

Pros: Nothing at all was positive in my experience with this lousy program. I had a very negative experience with their customer service.

Cons: It killed my computer and I had to purchase a new desktop PC since the one with this lousy program installed destroyed the system.

Overall: I had an old 8.1 system that had been upgraded from 8 on my PC. After reading some positive reviews of Restoro I thought I'd try it to clear out and speed up this system, even though it was working fine. After installing Restoro it went to work on my system which lasted most of the day. After hours I was prompted to restart my system to finish. When it restarted a very short image of DOS prompt appeared, but then screen went black and nothing more would work, or show on my computer. I tried contacting them and got no response for days. After two days of trying I finally got the computer to go into system recovery, which I applied. I lost all files and photos and the system went back to this old system. I then tried to update back to 8.1, but to no avail since updates would no longer work for this old system. I finally got hold of restoro and made a date with a tech to do an over the phone repair and update. When the appt. time came I sat by the phone for half an hour and no one from restoro called. Their customer service sucks! I needed to update to newer system at some point, but wasn't planning on it for a while. I finally had to buy a new PC with the latest 11 system. I don't know why there are any positive reviews for this program, since my experience was absolutely negative. I'm just a home user, but I can't imagine someone apply this lousy program that had any files on their computer that they couldn't afford to lose and then have something like this happen.

Pros: Restoro Support worked with me with a Windows 7 problem. They were very thorough and worked hard to help me. I have used Restoro twice, and would not hesitate to use them again.

Cons: Biggest problem using Restoro was Malwarebytes.
I finally gave up and disabled Malwarebytes so I could install and use Restoro.

Overall: Great product and Great Support.
Cost was reasonable.
I would not hesitate to use Restoro's help again.

Pros: Nothing I could not even activate a paid for copy to get this junk to fix my PC. Avoid buying it at the outrageous price it sells at. You will do your money because you wont get any help when things go wrong.

Cons: I could not activate my license code. All the small case letters I received in my code entered into the activation box in upper case and the key was rejected. I have been trying for over a month to get some help and support from "the support" team but they cant even issue me with anew license. $54.00 down the drain. Stay away from Restoro.

Overall: Absolute crap. Avoid it like you would like you would covid 19 affected crowds. You wont get any help when it goes wrong for you and and the cheapest license is 34 bucks.
