About RapidCopy Pro

RapidCopy is the portable version of FastCopy that runs on Mac OS X. Automatically selects different methods according to whether Source and DestDir are in the same or different HDD. Because reading/writing are processed with no OS cache at all, other applications don't easily become slow. High-speed diff file copy by update date or filesize. Stable copy(Ignore minor error). Checksum verify copy. Generate Log file (includes checksum). "LTFS"(Linear Tape File System) read/write support. Sync(like rsync), move, delete, etc, Various copy modes. Simple look and feel, but usage is the same as FastCopy. Source and destination diff check (Verify only mode) support. Various checksum algorithms (xxHash, MD5, SHA-1, etc.) If you are using the LTFS mode requires the installation and LTO device LTFS driver. If you want to add files/dirs to the source field by using drag and drop, simply drop by pushing the command key.

rsync is an open source utility that provides fast incremental file transfer. rsync is freely available under the GNU General Public License. The GPG signing key that is used to sign the release files is available from the public pgp key-server network. If you have automatic key-fetching enabled, just running a normal "gpg --verify" will grab my key automatically. Or, feel free to grab the gpp key for Wayne Davison manually. rsync is a file transfer program for Unix systems. rsync uses the "rsync algorithm" which provides a very fast method for bringing remote files into sync. It does this by sending just the differences in the files across the link, without requiring that both sets of files are present at one of the ends of the link beforehand. Optionally preserves symbolic links, hard links, file ownership, permissions, devices and times. Internal pipelining reduces latency for multiple files.
