    "Poor Performance "

    Posted 2023-06-21

Pros: Flexible - used for years.

Cons: When I reboot my computer the damn captcha takes too many attempts before I can use the app again.

Overall: When using on a pC it is too labor intensive after rebooting my PC which I do daily.

    "Works as it should"

    Posted 2023-02-07

Pros: Many of the functions predated other messengers, so don't jump on the "I have that" now, but for quite some time you could schedule messages, manage folders, use templates, pin messages.

Cons: Nothing really, just at times with a web login the captcha did not work. Occasionally an image doesn't send.

Overall: Seeing the review below prompted me to write the review. If one cannot get it to work, then there is an issue on ones part. I have used Pulse Messenger now for a few years across multiple devices and platforms. The only issue I had was when the prompt did not show up in some browsers. Besides that - works beautifully. I use Linux at home on multiple workstations, have a Samsung S22 Ultra and use Windows sparingly at times and pulse has worked among all devices I use, which is quite a few. I have no issues except for the occasional picture not going through - which I have found seems to be regardless of messengers. Good product, although I was sad when it was sold off, but seems to still be working without any issues.

    "Garbage"

    Edited 2022-08-09

Pros: Nothing it doesn't work. Complete waste of time. A rip off company. Return my money, return my money, return my money.

Cons: I have tried for hours to use this app which I paid for and cant log on, have it for 3/4 months now. NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT. Send an email, wait a week get a reply doesn't work, send an email wait a week get a reply doesn't work, send an email wait a week.

Overall: Complete waste of time and money. Stay far away, you will pay and never be able to use. GARBAGE. Return my money.

    "Pulse SMS vs Android Messages"

    Posted 2021-12-30

    Pros: Android use is free.
    No adverts.
    Fast, low lag, works well.

Has similar features as Android 11 Messages from Google (without the locking up bug when someone attaches a picture or screen shot).

Cons: Pulse SMS has recently been acquired by a media marketing company which pushes advertising.

The AUS 14 dollars lifetime fee for the premium version may be cancelled or restricted for people who have already purchased.

Overall: It came to the rescue when my Android 11 Messages app developed a bug that made my phone become busy trying to download an attachment without success. Android 11 Messages could not stop the download process even though it failed and then kept retrying.
I deleted the contact and had to block them, so that made Android 11 Messages unusable.
So I found Pulse SMS and that was the solution. If just using Pulse SMS as a replacement for Android 11 Messages on an Android 11 phone, there isn't any adverts and it is still free. The cost starts adding up when using it on multiple platforms, but there is a lifetime fee to limit those costs AUD 14 dollars or US 1O dollars seems worth if for lifetime.
