"Ease of use for end users and techs"

    Posted 2022-01-11

Pros: PrinterLogic's model is ease of use for both techs and end users, and it excels at that. It creates a browsable html map, or maps if your company/institution has more than one location, of your office space and has icons for the printers where they are located. User clicks on the icon and the printer, along with drivers, are installed. Thats it. It uses IP printing so no print server involved and html means it is platform independent. Its very easy for administrators to set up this html map and attach drivers for each o/s to the individual printers. You then share the url to your end users and that is it. Comparisons to Papercut don't make sense as the products have two completely different goals in mind. Printerlogic aims to make printing easy and free of the need to support and administer it. Papercut is for institutions that want to cost recover printing and hyper manage it. Understanding how these products are intended to be used, its easy to choose between the two.

Cons: None, assuming you understand the purpose of the product as I noted in the Pros.

Overall: Made set up of printers so easy for end users we get virtually no support calls on printer set up at all.
