About Position Sizer

Position Sizer is a trading panel expert advisor that lets you calculate the position size for your trades based on your risk tolerance, stop-loss, and the trading instrument you are working with. You can execute trades using the panel's interface and keyboard shortcuts. Version of Position Sizer are available for MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5. It also offer multiple additional features, such as margin calculation, swap calculation, risk calculation, breakeven, and trailing stop.

There are multiple customization options to configure the calculator according to your trading strategy and the conditions imposed by your broker (or your prop firm).

Position Sizer's panel preserves your settings through change of timeframe or currency pair and turning the platform on/off.

    Pros: position sizer makes sticking to firm risk limits effortless. calculates every trade down to the decimal perfect for prop account restrictions

    Cons: switching between instruments takes a few seconds longer than expected.

    Cons: I would love a dark mode option for night sessions.

    Thanks for your kind words! In fact, the dark mode is already there. You can turn it on by setting the Dark Mode input parameter to true. It can be found near the bottom of the input parameters list.

    Pros: position sizer keeps my risk consistent on every trade. no more guessing lot sizes — i just set my stop loss and risk %, and it does the math perfectly.

    Cons: took me a bit to adjust the broker settings right, but once done, it’s smooth.

    Overall: simple, reliable, and accurate. a must-have for any trader serious about managing their risk. impressive at all.

    Pros: Easy to use and install - couldn't be without it now.

    Lots of video instructions on youtube about how to use and install - please look up if you get stuck!

    Cons: Didn't come precompiled.

    Video on their download page shows you how to compile and it takes 30 seconds so not really a con but the only downside I could think of.

    Overall: This is definitely a hidden secret in the trading world - I cannot believe what I was doing before I found this plugin - scary!
