Plytix

Pros: Plytix is a very easy to use tool to create a database without much hassle. Whenever I have had a problem, their technical team has always solved it in a very short time. They offer you individual meetings with a person who helps you to solve all your questions.

Cons: I miss some features that could be implemented in the future.

Overall: I am very happy with Plytix and the whole Plytix team. I would recommend it to any company that wants to digitise its catalogue.

Pros: Plytix is a very easy to use PIM and it is just as easy to modify and personalize your workspace, feeds etc. And if you have troubles using the system, their amazing support team will help you.

Cons: Bulking images on variations is still not possible.

Overall: Plytix is without a doubt the best PIM for us and their pricing is very fair compared to other PIM-systems.

Pros: Easy to learn how to get around the platform and use on a daily basis, dedicated staff to provide support & Book in training.

Cons: The layout could be arranged better than it currently is.

Overall: Plytix provides a relatively easy platform to operate with a great support system and option to book in training whenever you need, I would recommend to anyone looking for a PIM system.

Pros: Easy and quick to learn how to use.
Simple processes but effective and complex outcomes.
Really easy to view platform, website is clear and easy to read.
Plytix team always on hand for support.
Training programme is useful and always available.

Cons: Nothing. Wish I could convince more people to use it.

Overall: Really worked well within our company. The Plytix team are very friendly and always available to help.

Pros: Plytix is very easy to use. The export and import function is great for updating many products fast.

Cons: I can not bulk photos. As a clothing company we have a lot of variation on a product that have the same picture. Ex jeans is in 20 sizes with same picture.

Overall: This is great. It is easy to learn, easy to use the program never fails. If there is a problem Plytix support will help fix it.

Pros: Good range of features.
Easy to use and to learn, even for people with no background in data management.
Great support, always there for you, reply and deal with issues very quickly.
User-friendly design.
Great data import/export features
Separate assets (photos, videos etc.) views and filters
Makes managing data easy in general

Cons: No strict user role definition.
Sometimes the tool takes to long to load data, but only with big imports/exports (over 10.000 SKUs)
Product change log is still not fully functional (10.03.2023 - only beta version available)

Overall: I really like Plytix and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for an easy accessible data management tool. I use it as a single source of truth for multiple web pages, performance analysis, BI etc. Very glad that I have it.

Pros: - Constant updates with new implementations
- Useful and easy-to-use features
- Collaborative and dynamic platform
- Quick access to your product information
- Good integration with other complementary platforms.
- Very good service from the support team

Cons: - Often the updates are so many that we need to stop and digest, understand, and adapt our methodology.
- I could use more AI to suggest auto-completion of similar products or even an auto translate of some attributes.

Overall: For me Plytix is a great ally, it not only brings all the basic functions of a PIM, but goes beyond with unique features and thought on the needs of the customers. Sometimes, it even seems like it is a tailor-made platform for the company. It seems that we think together in synergy.

Pros: Plytix delivers a lot to small businesses like ours.

It's fun to use and very intuitive. Plytix does have the capability for connections, but even if you only use it as an 'advanced spreadsheet', it's a great tool for your business to centralize product information.

A few of the features I like
*No limit on number of our staff that can access it.
*The plytix help team are exceptional. Very quick to reply and knowledgeable.
*Visibility of product roadmap (they use product board to allow users to vote on features).
*Export to excel is soooooo easy. I do it multiple times a week for some product group, or bit of data we want.
*Can set up common view for different product attributes (i.e. just dimensions, or warranty period)
*Brand portals can be built/designed by Product managers. :-D
*Assets can be associated to multiple products
*It's quick to load, edit, save.
*Multiple filters can be stacked to see just the products you want to edit.

Cons: A few things Plytix is lacking / needs to develop. But most can be worked around.

Our main limitation is we are only on Mid-Tier plytix plan and you can very quickly run out of portals/ product sheets/ feeds.

Other Cons
*It isn't a single source DAM because it doesn't have version control.
*No 2-factor authentication for security
*No user accounts for brand portals (it is a generic password for all).
*Brand portals and Product sheets are useful, but lacking some customisation capabilities.
*Updating assets en masse doesn't work / isn't easy.

Overall: We've never used a PIM before, so didn't know what we needed it to do. We have basic requirements, but most importantly we need to be able to put our ideas into action - WITHOUT using IT developers. Plytix has allowed our marketing team to be true curators/owners of the system that looks after product material. With an empowered team our data is getting more attention and we are doing things with it we haven't previously. Definitely a win for us.

Pros: Easy to use functionality, intelligent processing, and a great tool for storing our product data. We can limit the amount of information is accessible by our end customers and tailor their experience.

Cons: The only cons are the url key for the portals is not currently customisable.

Overall: Overall, this platform has helped us to gather and keep all of our product information, product manuals and images for both internal and external use.

Pros: Easy process when updating the product details as you can do it in bulk by importing a CSV file to Plytix.

Cons: Better if there is a way to check detailed modifications for audit and review purposes.

Overall: This is absolutely an amazing product! It is highly recommended to be used for an e-commerce business.

Pros: Onboarding was a breeze, everyone on the team was very helpful and had a great attitude. Plytix has all the features we needed in a PIM, while being much more cost-efficient than larger competitors. The interface is intuitive, and they are regularly making tweaks to improve it. The best features for us are the capacity to create "Portals", and how easy it is to manipulate and export data.

Cons: Honestly, I can't think of anything. I strongly recommend the tool to any retailer / distributor / brand.

Overall: Great tool to organize your data and force yourself to be more organized. The team at Plytix is also responsive and one of the most pleasant groups I've ever worked with in SaaS.

Pros: It's an easy tool to use and it allows to create a nice and (if you want) complex architecture of information.
It completely substitutes other tools to have all the product information in one place.

Cons: No possibility of snippets html or other product "experience" information. No possibility of image renditions.

Overall: I personally scouted a lot of different softwares and this was the "magic".
It creates thumbnails in seconds.

Pros: I like the simplicity of using Plytix. The user interface is very clear and straight forward. New users can therefore easily get acquainted with the software.

Cons: I would love a function that auto updates our datasheets when a product spec changes, that currently does not exist and still costs us time.

Overall: Our overall experience with Plytix is very positive. The team is also very helpful when there is something that you want to do which you cannot figure out by yourself.
