"Super convenient for organizations" Posted 2022-06-27
Pros: Having all monitoring in one platform is a bliss. Any sort of data that can be obtained through command line can be monitored through Pandora. Also, it is super flexible. Adding new features and integrations is easy. It supports a wide variety of integrations as well.
Cons: The price is somewhat expensive. The setup can be bit of a hassle and support is slow to respond. And not everyone can make full use of it unless they have good knowledge of Linux.
Overall: Very convenient tool for organizations - big or small - as scaling for any size is not at all an issue with Pandora. Features offered are worth the price.

"Real flexible monitoring platform" Posted 2022-04-20
Pros: Very well designed and documented. The web console core is in PHP and I liked it because offers a good transparency and flexibility to extend the ui and the reporting area.
Cons: Need some skills in Linux to get the maximum benefit of the platform. The reporting tool is an area to be improved.
Overall: I like Pandora FMS because his powerful engine and the ability to easily be enhanced. Very recommended.

"Show all your data" Posted 2022-04-20
Pros: Easy to get information from your systems with your own scripts.
Out-of-the box for the most common metrics in your servers.
You can do almost any imaginable option with alerts.
Good inventory system, customizable.
Great IPAM, including supernets and realtime monitoring for used IP's.Cons: Some specific network hardware doesn't have a specific template.
It has many options. There is no "simplified" interface.
IT automation features are not good enough to replace Ansible.Overall: Pandora FMS is perfect for system administrators who wants to put some order, and have everything in control. It's complex at the beginning, but it is worth every hour spent, it pays you back in return.

" Best all-in-one monitoring tool" Posted 2022-04-20
Pros: Pandora FMS is easy to use, it is very easy to increase its capacity and it supports a large part of the tools used in on-premise or cloud environments.
Cons: As it is a flexible product, there is not much against it, perhaps only the time it takes to put together something to measure if the product does not have support in its library.
Overall: I have carried out implementations for all types of clients in all cases we have always been able to meet the client's expectations.
