Pros: The Nuance transcription is okay - no better than competitors but slightly better than writing things out by hand.
Cons: -poor flow - constantly cuts of words - even after extensive training cannot understand speech as well as competitors.
-constantly screwing up formatting
User interface is clunky and awkward - I’m frequently having to stop everything and make corrections. No semblance of flow and efficiency is slightly better than writing everything out by hand.
-nuance power mics III that come with the platform designed poorly and the button selection leads to a delay between pressure and actuation further slowing down throughput.Overall: I’m burned out after starting a job that uses Surgical CAPD - will never sign a contract anywhere that uses this platform again. It feels like a beta version - the type of software that management pushes for deployment over the software engineers objections.
