Pros: - The best feature about MySQL that makes it most appealing to the beginners is how easy it is to install, set up and get started with it.
    - It supports integration with almost all the major IDEs like VS Code and IntelliJ IDEA.
    - The queries used are simple and readable in layman language.
    - Multiple databases can be connected at once, so the user can work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Cons: - The software crashes occasionally but luckily because of auto save feature no data gets lost.
    - It is the best tool for small databases, but when it comes to large databases, it is not the ideal option because of its limitations.

Overall: Overall, MySQL is a non-relational database management system that supports SQL query language to function. It is flawless to use when it comes to creating small databases.
