Instead of forcing the main language model to search through files within its own context window, WarpGrep performs the search independently and returns only the specific code fragments needed for the task. It uses a reinforcement-learning-trained retrieval model that explores repositories through a multi-turn process, issuing commands such as grep, list_directory, and read to navigate the project structure and locate relevant code sections.
