Production planning and production logistics / logistics planning in ERP systems, such as SAP ERP PP, uses the MRP-II method and requires a separation of material requirements planning and capacity planning. ERP systems work in a transaction-oriented way. ORSOFT Manufacturing Workbench follows the principles of Advanced Planning and Scheduling and offers interactive multi-resource simultaneous planning with the possibility to simulate and optimize planning scenarios.
