NFT traders interested in an NFT marketplace for Solana, Ethereum, Polygon, and Bitcoin/Ordinals

About Magic Eden

Magic Eden is the NFT marketplace that Solana, Ethereum, Polygon, and Bitcoin/Ordinals deserve, smooth as silk & fast. And the only one with 0% listing fees. Magic Eden is a community-centric company. We work hard to be responsive, close to the ground, and in service to the best interests of our collections. To prove our commitment to the community, we airdropped Magic Ticket, our own collection, to over 30,000 users. Holding a Magic Ticket gives holders access to our discord-based DAO, MagicDAO, where we deliver interconnectivity via social programs and rewards to the community. We offer creators the greatest liquidity, holding over 90% market share for secondary trading volume on Solana. Launchpad is our exclusive minting platform. We accept 3% of all Launchpad applications and feature the best projects on Solana. Partner with us by powering your own marketplace or mint button with our tech under your hood.

    "Magic Eden Scam"

    Posted 2024-07-22

Pros: Initially everything worked well and their web site was ok, After while problems start to come up...

Cons: * Their support is not helpful
    * They are possible scam?! At least they stole from me

Overall: This is the story of how Magic Eden stole my diamonds. When I logged into Magic Eden, I noticed my diamonds were gone. I opened a support ticket to resolve the issue. The first person closed the ticket without checking anything. So, I opened a second ticket, and another support person told me that the system had flagged my account because I had made offers to collections.

I explained that their website states, “Earn Diamonds by making collection offers, with additional rewards for providing greater liquidity.” He promised to forward the ticket to the second tier of support.

The next day, I logged back in, only to find that the second-tier support had closed the ticket without a solution, and I’m still missing all my diamonds.

Beware, Magic Eden is a scam!

    "Scammy NFT Trading Site"

    Posted 2024-07-07

Pros: There are no Pros when you cannot even use the service since as appear to have zero support services. Cannot even transfer funds to their Wallet.

Cons: Zero Support unless you consider communicating with a brain dead bot to be of any kind of help.

Overall: I own several thousand NFTs including many unstoppable domains, BNS, Ada Handles, etc. I saw some BNS .btc domains to buy here and thought I would give it a try. Being an experienced user, I sent a nominal amount of BTC to my newly set up Magic Eden Wallet. TX below sent from Ledger Wallet with close to 600 confirms. Blockstream Explorer TX pending for a week now:
    793f0f8b5443fa3dfdd65f9d6578ab3f6f51d411898b85530df8f6a33f678d64
Ledger informs the problem is on the ME side -to which there is no support. I never even had the ability to use their service. Appears to be a Scammer's site stealing BTC from innocent people. I hoping my loss of $25 usd will prevent others from being scammed.

    "Magic Eden Treevolve Tree "

    Posted 2024-01-10

Pros: Nothing. They created this NFT that needs to be traded (sold and bought) to earn XP. Once you gain enough XP the NFT then reaches the next level. The levels start at 1 and go up to 100 with each level earning you more mining power should you stake it in Wombat Dungeon Master while also allowing the owner to earn a daily ROI of wombat tokens. The higher the level the more tokens you will receive daily.

Cons: Would not allow me to accept buy offers. I submitted a support ticket several weeks ago with the only response being that they need to escalate my issue to tier 2 tech support and recommended that I use a 2nd poly matic wallet to list the trees and buy the trees so I could continue to earn XP while they continue to receive 7% fees on each transaction. While attempting to level up my NFTs they were unsurprisingly sniped by an unknown buyer, most likely a bot, and I lost my NFT. Once again I was met with no help from support other than to be patient and wait for a response from my first support ticket. With hindsight being 20/20 it almost seems like the whole Treevolve Tree was created to scam the owners of each NFT should they attempt to advance and level up.

Overall: Awful. I paid over $20 USD in Matic for the level 1 tree and another $15 USD in Matic including fees to level up their product only to have it sniped by an unknown buyer. I even used the safeguards they put in place when listing the NFT with an expiration time 3 minutes following when I listed. At the same time I used my other wallet to purchase the NFT. Immediately after purchasing I was met with the message “we need to confirm this in your wallet…” which never occurred. Once I refreshed the screen the NFT was gone

"Cryptos stuck there for more than 1 week"

    Posted 2023-02-11

Pros: Website looks good. They have decent NFTs and some good features (bidding on complete collections, etc...)

Cons: Absolutely no support. Money lost. They keep asking for screenshots and stuff and when you send it to them, they're gone. No answer whatsoever. Lost 300€.

Overall: Absolutely NO support. 300€ of my cryptos are stuck on their wallet now for more than 1 week and I can't get through to their support. I've opened 4 tickets in their support (one every first 4 days because I couldn't get any answers), tried reaching them through Twitter. NOTHING! All they say is "send me a screenshot of your chrome console" which I do and then.... they're gone! No answer. I've tried everything. Feels like a scam.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that I know they read my messages because their chat tool shows me so. They're even online but still, no answer.

    STAY AWAY FROM THAT WEBSITE!
