LoadPlanner CAD is a re-programmed software based on the same functionality as the old system LoadPlanner. The software is based on a 3D matrix compatible with AutoCAD but created for modern world use. The system is fully compatible with Ships File created in the old LoadPlanner 4.1. LoadPlanner saw its first daylight in 1986 and in 2012 the entire system was reprogramed to a modern-day program language and IT safety. The program is built up into 6 main systems. The File Explorer is used for setup the system, keeping track of all recent files, and having pre-view windows showing file contents depending on file type including PDF files. A database keeping track of all ship names and related IMO numbers, used for quick search. As many users do a lot of traveling and therefore have all files local, a replications system can replicate all local project files to a server. Cargo planning and management, Crane simulations, stability calculations.
