Pros: It was easy to look for suitable jobs to your skills, educational attainment, and past work experience. Easy to access and look for employers and companies that you can apply. You can look based on the salary that you want as well.

"Best app for recruiters and job-seekers"

    Posted 2021-05-11

Pros: LinkedIn is a great platform to connect with employers who might be looking to recruit. It provides an easy way for job-seekers to network with potential employers, build a connection with them, or land a job. With the posting and blogging features in the profile, aspirants can easily showcase their portfolio and knowledge. It also allows organizations to post job offers and keep track of the applicants. LinkedIn Learning is another useful feature for both employers and employees to build their skillset. I also love the automatic resume builder, which is very helpful. The one-click feature for applying to jobs also provides for a very user-friendly experience.

Cons: Since its expansion, LinkedIn has become a hub for potential frauds as well. There is no screeners for jobs it seems, as mass recruiting happens for unprofessional looking organizations. Many recruiters also exploit job-seekers by offering them 'internships' without any pay or compensation.

Overall: LinkedIn is an amazing platform if you know how to tread well. From showcasing your stellar portfolio to attract clients, to quick job applications and networking with the big names in the industry, it is certainly a platform anybody can utilize.

"An effective platform for the curriculum and companies"

    Posted 2021-02-23

Pros: I like that other people can certify my skills and leave me comments about the work I have done, this helps me a lot to position myself and find a job faster. I can add with details where I work, the company, time of the job, what I did and I can also share that information with my connections. I like the idea of knowing who visited me, this helps to improve my profile to obtain potential clients or employers.

Cons: I don't like that I have a public activity, I should be able to select who can see my posts, likes and shared posts. Sometimes I want to find work colleagues and no logo found since they appear as "LinkedIn Member" that function is a bit annoying. The LinkedIn chat should not open the messages when I open it, I just want to know who is online to see if I can communicate with the person concerned, I do not want them to open automatically.

Overall: I used LinkedIn to look for the job and get the position I currently have. It has helped me to have a good work profile and in addition to getting good contacts to help me get a better job. I currently use LinkedIn as a social network with my work teams, improving my work status and maintaining relationships with clients.

"Easy communication with new people and with new work environments."

    Posted 2021-02-17

Pros: My work opinion of LinkedIn is that it is a fantastic platform for meeting new people, new business environments, and startups that help improve social integrity. The things I liked about LinkedIn were:

1.- It has a good job search filter, it is a platform that offers people to find a job more easily. LinkedIn sends notices to people who are available for a new job, so they can find it easier.
2.- It is very easy to modify the statement and the business profile. In a single LinkedIn section, I can modify my work experience, the education I have had and all the courses I have taken.
3.- LinkedIn has quite good messaging, in which I can connect with different people, talk with each of them and interact with each other.

Cons: Since I started using LinkedIn as a business social network, I have not had any problems, however, one of the things that should improve on this platform is that LinkedIn takes a long time to load. The LinkedIn Feed takes a long time to load all the information and recent posts, which is quite annoying to have to wait so long.

Overall: Before using LinkedIn I had great expectations with this platform, my goal was to be able to connect with different people and thus be able to grow my socialization with people. LinkedIn has helped me to be more social, my expectation was fulfilled correctly and I have been able to establish extensive conversations with each of my contacts. In addition, LinkedIn allows me to stay informed about any updates from the company I work for, and helps me connect with more people who are related to my position. This platform is incredible, very stable, a social network that makes the business environment grow.

"I love being able to make connections with people."

    Posted 2021-02-17

Pros: LinkedIn is a spectacular social network, the ability it has to create a work base and be able to sustain a business network is impressive. What I like the most about LinkedIn is the way it can create a network of contacts. This platform allows me to add all kinds of people to my network of contacts, regardless of what company they work in, what sector they work in or what job position they have, LinkedIn allows me to send friend requests that help me connect with those people and be able to conduct all kinds of conversations with those people. LinkedIn is a very powerful social network, which helps me connect with people in the business sector and create a solid network of employees.

Cons: My email inbox is completely full of emails that LinkedIn sends me as notifications of everything that happens in my network of contacts. LinkedIn is a very annoying platform with these notifications, it informs me when someone changes jobs or companies, and it also informs me when one of my contacts is on their birthday. LinkedIn sends a lot of spam to my inbox, and this is something that I do not like, because I receive more than 10 daily emails from this platform to notify me of things I do not want to know.

Overall: My overall experience with LinkedIn has been really good, I am satisfied with the service LinkedIn has provided me because it has worked very well as an open social network with which I can connect with all my work colleagues and I can also post to share with my network of contacts. This platform is very complete, I have been able to find new employees for my company and I have also been able to connect with other companies in the same labor sector. In addition, LinkedIn offers a perfect application for mobile phones, a very complete application where I can edit my work statement and I can also connect with new people.

"Immediate connectivity and creation of a network of contacts."

    Posted 2021-02-14

Pros: One of the most complete social networks today is LinkedIn, due to its great ability to communicate with labor sectors and for allowing a perfect network of workers to be created. What I like the most about this social network is that I can have direct contact with all my work colleagues and I can also dialogue with people who are related to my job or my work sector. I really like the speed with which I can modify my job profile, in just an instant I can modify my statement, add previous job and also add the skills I have. The "My Network" section helps me connect with people with just one click, and to interact with anyone.

Cons: When I renew my LinkedIn Plan, the LinkedIn Premium badge disappears from my profile, and I have to wait approximately 2 days for the membership to be successfully activated in my account. In addition, in those two days I will not be able to enjoy the Premium functionalities, I must always wait for the membership to be activated to be able to enjoy the functions, considering that I have already paid days before. In addition, the LinkedIn notifications in my email are very annoying, it alerts me about everything that is happening in my network of contacts, it even sends me notifications when someone in my network of contacts is on a birthday, I would like to be able to receive fewer notifications from LinkedIn.

Overall: I am grateful for the way LinkedIn has given me, because this has helped me create a network of contacts that helps me improve myself in my work area and also allows me to have discussions with any connection. In addition, LinkedIn is a very complete platform in the main section, since I can share all kinds of publications, create new articles and place new publications with just one click. LinkedIn has an excellent application for mobile phones, quite complete with which I can enjoy the same experience that I have from my computer. I am fascinated with the great effectiveness of LinkedIn and its ability to allow me a good work connection.

"One of the best social networks that currently exist."

    Posted 2021-02-11

Pros: LinkedIn is an impressive platform that works as a social network and helps all kinds of people to connect and interact more about the business world. This platform has a very good organization in the "Feed" section where all the most relevant news are reflected and recent publications of the connections you have also appear. One of the sections that I love a lot about LinkedIn is "My Network" because in this section I can come into direct contact with thousands employees around the world, this section gives me recommendations to be able to connect with people who relate to my business profile or my job title. I really like being able to create publications in just a few steps and being able to interact with my entire team in the banking sector. LinkedIn is a very fluid platform, the work plans it offers are essential to be able to have the Premium membership and be able to enjoy it to the fullest. Premium Membership offer a greater reach of publications, being able to see who reviews your profile and also being able to connect with more professionals who adapt to your needs. Another thing that I love about LinkedIn is the fact that I can easily edit my work profile, in a matter of seconds I can add current and past experiences, I can add the education I have had and also the degrees that I have completed. I love LinkedIn, it is a very complete social network for the business sector.

Cons: The only feature that I will criticize negatively about LinkedIn is its application for Android and iOS devices, because this app despite having a good design, does not offer full profile visibility. This app only shows a small fragment of the profiles, when reviewing the profile of another person, only the jobs are seen but not the descriptions of those jobs. I think that being able to see the descriptions is extremely important, because that way we can connect with people who provide us with more job interests. Also, this App is very annoying with notifications, it sends many notifications every day and there is no way to regulate the notifications that can be received in one day.

Overall: Expressing myself generally, I consider that I have had a good experience since using LinkedIn, because this platform has helped me connect with a large number of business groups and has helped me integrate into work teams. LinkedIn is a very complete platform, very easy to use and too fluid. This platform was able to allow me to connect with people related to my work environment, and this way to be able to talk with them about various interests that we have mutually. In addition, LinkedIn keeps me in touch with all the colleagues in my company in the banking sector, I can have a conversation with them directly thanks to the real-time messaging that LinkedIn offers me. I am completely satisfied.

"Construction of a work environment and connection with people."

    Posted 2021-02-10

Pros: LinkedIn is an overly active social network, it is a platform in which all kinds of interactions can be carried out with many professionals around the world our around the are of residence or work. One of the things I like the most about this platform is that it is fast to create all kinds of publications, in addition, my publications can be viewed instantly by all the connections or followers I have at that moment. Another thing that I love about LinkedIn is that thanks to its work plans, I can enjoy more features that help me maintain an active professional network and that benefit me at work. The plans that LinkedIn offers me are quite beneficial, either to create a job network or to search for jobs.

Cons: The notifications that LinkedIn sends are very consistent, it sends notifications to email, but they are annoying because it warns about any movement that is in the profile, in the views of the publications and in any movement that there is in my work network. I would like to receive fewer notifications from LinkedIn, or for them to create a filter that can regulate these notifications and only receive the most important notifications. I love keeping up with any movement in my network, but I think LinkedIn is overdoing it a bit with the notifications it sends to email.

Overall: LinkedIn has been very important for our real estate industry, thanks to this platform we have been able to connect with great professionals in the real estate sector and be able to make negotiations that benefit both parties. This platform has also helped me interact with all my work colleagues, currently in our company we use LinkedIn to share important information or updates that are in our company and the services we offer. I am very satisfied with LinkedIn, it is a completely fluid platform that helps me connect with different types of people, and thus be able to build a good work environment.

Pros: The application helps in applying for jobs very easily. It's a platform to connect with a good and large number of networks. This application makes it easy to find recruiters and get in touch with them. Helps in boosting careers too.

Cons: Not as interesting as other social media applications. Somewhat professional and mostly restricted to professional and business use only. LinkedIn is not sought by many. But only the ones who really look forward to their career.

    Posted 2020-06-09

Pros: LinkedIn is one of the best job aggregators out there, when I'm looking for a job I will often see what companies have posted on LinkedIn.

Cons: When I'm not looking for a job, I will get notifications on my phone for self-promotional webinars and 'XXX has gone live' messages. And there's a lot of randos who will add you just to promote their services etc.

Overall: Definitely make a profile and use the job board function, but maybe don't get the mobile app. It's helpful to build your connections and network but some people take it too far.
