Pros: The Kyvos UI offers a seamless user experience with its intuitive design. It boasts a plethora of features including logical and physical semantic modelling, robust data security rules, comprehensive BI reporting capabilities, and support for various APIs such as REST, JAVA SDK, and OLAP4J. On the other end, Kyvos is backed by an exceptional customer support team known for its prompt and knowledgeable assistance, ensuring issues are swiftly resolved. Furthermore, the engineering and development team at Kyvos demonstrates remarkable flexibility and proactivity in addressing customer challenges. They are receptive to feedback, readily adapting product designs and features to meet evolving customer needs.

Cons: While there are no significant drawbacks to note, I would mention few minor limitations. These include the limited support for certain data sources and the absence of support for stored procedures/user-defined MDX functions. I am pretty sure Kyvos team are ready to address them, especially if they are deemed high priority by customers.

Overall: Overall, Kyvos stands out as a simple yet powerful semantic modelling tool, enriched with a wealth of features. Behind it is a highly dynamic and knowledgeable development and support teams, ensuring an exceptional user experience and swift problem resolution.

From installation and administrative perspective it is fairly simple to setup and Kyvos Support team is very professional, responsive and helpful in delivering the product, as well as making new features available and happily receive feedback from customers to explore as new areas of product improvement.

Cons: No significant cons, all the feedback are accepted by support team for product improvement and make product fit customer needs better.

"Kyvos are a fantastic company to work with"

    Posted 2023-09-08

Pros: I have found Kyvos very intuitive as a product, however, my main experience is working with the Kyvos team whom have been brilliant throughout. We have weekly governance calls to ensure everything is covered off from a business perspective but also that any infrastructure/performance concerns can be addressed. The team are super responsive and excellent in their knowledge of not only their product but in understanding what our business needs. They work with us from the requirements gathering phase through to development, testing, performance impact analysis, UAT, implementation, Post Implementation Testing and monitoring to ensure we have an application not only up and running but working to the optimal standards at all times. As part of the ongoing monitoring, the Kyvos team often look at ways to optimise existing cubes with a desire and focus on continuous improvement. If only all vendors were as knowledgeable, helpful and reliable.

Cons: So far I personally have had nothing but a positive experience.

Overall: The Kyvos product is very well received by our users. The Kyvos team really listen to our feedback and provide solutions to what we need going forward. This is then presented to us at future upgrade demos. The Kyvos team have integrated with our in house team seamlessly and they really do go the extra mile.
