Kyvos Semantic Layer

Pros: Kyvos has made it much easier to explore and analyze large-scale data. It maps complex data to business-friendly terms and enables us to drill down deep for comparative analysis and granular insights.

Cons: Haven’t faced any major challenges. Sometimes it’s hard to catch up with the latest updates as they have monthly releases.

Overall: We work with petabyte-scale data which was literally impossible to explore with our existing analytics tools. They couldn’t handle data at that scale - drilldowns were limited and comparative analysis was very slow. Kyvos has made this whole process much smoother, it allows easy querying and drilling through raw data using Presto and Hive.

Pros: Our team was struggling with real-time calculations as our datasets were massive. Our BI dashboards were lagging and they couldn't support dynamic, on-the-go analysis across data combinations. Kyvos has enabled us to instantly analyze millions of data points and run complex calculations.

Cons: Kyvos brings many advantages to the table, no pain points as of now.

Overall: We used to spend hours manually stitching together data from Excel files, PPT decks, BI tools and third-party systems. Drilldowns were also limited. We are now able to analyze a lot more data, much faster

Pros: Kyvos has helped us standardize business metrics across the organization. Earlier, different teams would use their own formats, definitions and reporting logic – there was no consistent source of truth. Now analytics and reporting have become much smoother.

Cons: Working well for us as of now, no bottlenecks worth mentioning. Their repository of demos is also helpful.

Overall: Before adopting this semantic layer, we often used to find the same business metric varying across reports. This meant a lot of manual adjustments and versioning issues. Kyvos has solved this issue, making data analysis much more efficient.

Pros: Our cloud data platform costs were spiraling as we were being charged for each query. 
With Kyvos, we have been able to manage those costs while still running large-scale analysis without restrictions.

Cons: Kyvos has helped us reduce both cost and effort. We have nothing to complain about at this time.

Overall: We no longer have to worry about mounting cloud costs. Kyvos manages compute smoothly in the background.

Pros: Kyvos helps us deep dive into our datasets – regardless of the size or format. It is straightforward to use and our business users can easily explore and analyze data on their own. This has helped our organization save a lot of time and effort.

Cons: We have been using Kyvos for several months without any problems or issues.

Overall: We are no longer constrained by the pre-defined views of BI dashboards. Our business team can explore data as freely as they want and understand key trends, patterns and correlations instantly.

Pros: 1. Its fast and easy to use, even for non tech users.
2. It seamlessly handles large scale data.
3. If a query requires more detailed context, the system asks for guidance, ensuring the response is contextual and accurate.

Cons: So far so good. A lot better than some of the tools we have experimented with in the past.

Overall: Kyvos helps us quickly get insights from as much data as we want - using simple natural language queries. The response are far more reliable and relevant than other conversational analytics tools we have used in the past.

Pros: It allows me to slice and dice large volumes of transactions data in seconds. I can easily search through the data, examine suspicious accounts and detect unusual transaction patterns that might indicate fraud.

Cons: The product is functioning well; I don’t think there’re any significant problems worth mentioning

Overall: Our fraud checks were constrained by simple queries on limited data. Kyvos allowed us to analyze as much data as we need, which helped us to flag anomalies earlier, reduce false positives and strengthen fraud prevention across the board.

Pros: I like the drag-and-drop feature which has made data visualization easy for everyone.
We can dive deep into granular data which helps us to analyze data effectively.

Cons: Nothing specific comes to mind. It’s meeting all our requirements well.

Overall: Enabled business users to create their own dashboards without relying on IT.
Made decision-making faster across departments.
It gave us a single, consistent view of our data.

Pros: The biggest benefit with Kyvos is faster performance. It plugged right into our cloud setup and started working with our BI tools without any hassle.

Cons: There’s always room for improvement in any product, but I think Kyvos is already performing really well

Overall: Kyvos has completely transformed our reporting capabilities. It used to be slow and constrained by data volume. Now, we can easily get into much larger datasets and generate reports in a fraction of the time.

Pros: Reduces cloud spending by making queries more efficient

It has solved all issues related to cloud charges and making analytics cost predictable.

Overall: Wonderful user experience. The performance is very good and really great tool for analytical purpose.

Pros: Kyvos has eased my work quite a bit. I don't need to build separate data sets for different tools anymore. I just set up the model once and now everyone can use their preferred BI tool and get insights without any issues.

Cons: Kyvos offers a wide range of advanced analytics features for many different use cases and is incredibly easy to use. Nothing to dislike.

Overall: I used to spend far too much time troubleshooting data performance issues and preparing data in different formats for different teams. Now with Kyvos, there's a single source of truth everyone can rely on.

Pros: Analyzing historical data is effortless with Kyvos. I can load and explore years’ worth of information in a single view without worrying about performance dip

Cons: Can’t say if I encountered anything that created problems. So far, it’s been great using the product.

Overall: Earlier, our long-term data was almost unusable because of performance limits. With Kyvos, I can now run queries on five to six years of information instantly, which has opened up far deeper insights.

Pros: We can analyze many data points at once which gives a clear, detailed view of performance across the board. This helps us quickly spot where things are going well or where we need to step in.

Cons: So far, I haven’t encountered any major problems. The experience has been positive overall.

Overall: It’s capable of querying billions of records in a matter of seconds without relying on any external platforms. We primarily use Tableau and Kyvos connects with it seamlessly.

Pros: I like that I can dig into KPIs across teams, locations and processes. Exploring insights from specific processes or regions helps me quickly identify where action is needed.

Cons: No major issues so far. The platform is quite reliable and easy to use.

Overall: Previously, visibility into operations was not so good. Kyvos gives us latest dashboards that highlight delays and issues right away. Now we can respond faster and keep workflows on track.
