    "Best System engineering package"

    Posted 2023-02-08

Pros: (1) Provides a centralized platform for all system engineering activities, enabling better collaboration and communication among team members.
    (2) Offers a range of tools and features specifically designed for system engineering tasks, such as requirement management, architecture development, etc. (3) Supports a systems approach to problem-solving, promoting a holistic view of the system and its components. (4) Helps to manage complexity and risk in developing complex systems. (5) Can improve efficiency and productivity by automating repetitive tasks and providing a single source of truth for project information.

Cons: (1) May have a steep learning curve for new users. (2) Dependent on reliable and fast internet connectivity, which may be a problem in some locations.

Overall: User-friendly interface, collaboration capabilities, integrations with other tools, and automated processes. However, it may also have cons such as limited functionality, cost, and a learning curve. Whether Innoslate is the right choice for an organization will depend on their specific requirements and a comparison to other available options.

    "Very easy and intuitive"

    Posted 2021-04-13

Pros: All of the data is in one place, it is linked and accessible. It really exemplifies MBSE. Very easy to learn and adjust to your particular needs.

Cons: So far I haven't found any cons. Their support team has been very responsive when I've had questions.

Overall: Innoslate is a tool that allows someone to capture a system using the Life Cycle Modeling technique, which is itself the best way I've found so far to model a system from MCR to disposal.

    "Digital Engineering in a Box"

    Posted 2021-04-05

Pros: Diagrams and the ability to link documents and requirements to other objects.

Pricing well below some competing products.

    Excellent support.

Cons: Learning curve is a little steep and you do need to use often to keep your hand in.

Overall: We recommended Innoslate for our government customer and have used it for development and review of requirements documents, generation of action diagrams for CONOPS development and review, and will be moving into linking test results back to ORD and FRD requirements this year. Our office is moving into digital engineering and Innoslate fits their plans perfectly.

"Very user friendly tool & great at connecting multiple parties together"

    Posted 2021-04-05

Pros: It is very easy to use as a "Teams" tool, in other words, new hires can play around with the tool and understand it in little time. Also it can be used as a repository for correction tracking, document storage, reports, financials, etc. Also Innoslate support is great with answering questions and providing timely help.

Cons: Innoslate can enhance the options for its document exports. Having a culture shift to "cloud based" and online still heavily relies on emailing word, excel, ppt documents to each other (from my experience) so having Innoslate's Word Report have the ability to do indents, aligning, and layout at scale would be great.

Overall: Overall Innoslate is great. I have used other SE & MBSE Tools before and in terms of allowing access to other team members outside of SE is great. Also the tool is very flexible to meet your needs; i.e. use as little or as much of the tool as you need!!
