"GCash are thieves " Posted 2024-07-12
Pros: I used to use GCash until they stole my money and now their customer service will not investigate and find out how someone in their company took my money.
Cons: The con is that they can take your money anytime they want to and there is is nothing you can do about it.
Overall: My old phone got broken and was unusable. So I bought a new phone and put in my existing sim card that I have been using for 7 years. When I loaded my GCash account I was locked out of my account because it did not recognize my new phone. They locked me out of my account for 10 days and during that time they did a transaction to Lazada for 912 pesos. There was only 912.60 pesos in my account to begin with. As soon as I was unlocked from my account I was stunned to see the transaction and only .60p in my account. I have tried and tried to have them investigate and find out who in their company did the transaction and stole my money but they have only given me the runaround. I will not use GCash. They are thieves.

Pros: I warn everyone to open a GCash account.
Cons: Too many scammers use GCash and the customer service doesn't care about your problem.
We have already filed criminal charges against GCash.Overall: As a foreigner it is dangerous to open an account, you will be asked for bank account details like account number, bank name and a copy of how much money you have in the bank account.

"GCash" Posted 2022-12-01
Pros: It's widely accepted across the Philippines for transacting business and for sending money. Saves time and effort.
Cons: There are frequent interruptions in the service/offline. The opening screen is a promo, this is irritating if you are in a hurry. It doesn't work on some phones. Needed to change my phone to start using it.
GCash is miles away from its competitors and now they are starting to charge fees on some transactions.Overall: It's convenient to use for business and personal transactions. This platform has gained tremendous headway and helped transform the Philippines business environment into the next level.
