Tangerin AI is a Brazilian AI governance platform. It answers a question most companies cannot answer today: which AI tools IT-approved or not (Shadow AI) are used inside the company, by whom, at what data risk, and with what evidence to show an auditor. Collection works two ways: a lightweight endpoint agent (Windows, macOS, Linux), or agentless ingestion of existing NGFW, SSE and SIEM logs. Every signal resolves against a proprietary catalog of 6,000+ AI tools recording data risk, processing country, retention policy and training use. Each tool is scoped by policy as allowed, restricted or prohibited; employees digitally sign the AI usage policy; and the compliance module covers 24 frameworks - LGPD, ISO 42001, EU AI Act, GDPR, ISO 27001 and more - with automatic evidence crosswalk and an external-auditor view. It records which tool was used, when and on which workstation - never conversation content, prompts or files. Architectural decision, not a setting.
