Expo Pass

Pros: 1. Mobile App & web layout is great.

2. Speaker page layout is great.

3. Exhibitor Lead Retrieval.

4. Badge scanning is wonderful.

5. Registration (and support) is spot-on!!

Cons: 1. No options for "add-on" pricing in Registration (i.e. if an Exhibitor wants to purchase an add-on for their level of registration).

2. No virtual attendee attendance accountability.

3. Switching between Expo Pass "Classic" and "Web" can get a little confusing.

4. No place on mobile app for area to upload venue map.

Overall: Overall, we've been pleased with our Expo Pass experience the last 2 years! Sierra has been wonderful to work with!

Pros: I LOVED the customer service team within Expo Pass! I had ONE event manager from the time the contract was signed until the end of my event, and Tom was phenomenal and we hope to have him again next year after re-signing with Expo Pass! We had any question answered quickly and efficiently. If there was ever a day where Tom was unavailable or out of the office and I had a question, another team member would take over and answer in his absence, which made for such a seamless support team. The products for check in (ipads/printers) were easy to set up if you followed the step by step instructions! The check in process for attendees was seamless and they were all left saying "that's it??" We enjoyed the features of the app being able to provide exhibitor information, breakout presenter info/bios and add their session content for all attendees to access.

Cons: The only constructive feedback we provided the team was the day of, during registration, we had several attendees who had to change their emails addresses from what was utilized at registration. This caused a weird glitch when using/sending the magic link. The team was notified and aware of the issue and are currently working to rectify so it is not duplicated. This glitch made it difficult not having a point person we could call directly to speak to, as just emailing someone for help was not efficient and caused a disruption when it came time for attendees to actually attend sessions but couldn't access due to the app. Having a direct person on call that day to rectify would have been more efficient and effective I believe.

Overall: Overall, we highly recommend Expo Pass! They helped us create an organized and efficient event for over 600 conference attendees and we are currently in conversations about our contract for next years event!

Pros: Ease of use, badge printing is quick and efficient. Lead retrieval works well. Art and machines are great. Helpful staff.

Cons: Web interface for stats is a little hard to use, not user friendly. We have to get some training on this.

Overall: Excellent overall experience. Great staff, great product! Badge printing and lead retrieval is our favorite product.

Pros: ExpoPass is literally plug and play! When there are about 750 other things you need to set up for an event, the ease of setting up registration makes SUCH a difference! I've been using ExpoPass for about a year, and after my first event, felt completely comfortable setting everything up on my own! We use the platform a little differently from how it is recommended (we still check in our attendees!), but I have seen even our mostly boomer crowd pull a tablet around and check themselves in if it's busy! It's really that easy!

Cons: A hard line is recommended, which is an extra cost at venues, but all in all, it's worth it to KNOW your registration is going to work.

Overall: Truly a game changer! Setting up for registration use to be such a hassle - never knowing if it would connect correctly, if things would print, how badges would look, etc, but with ExpoPass, everything is set up and ready to go for me when it arrives! All I have to do is unpack and plug everything in!

Pros: Ease of use for the attendee.
No emails to fumble through.
No QR codes to Scan.
Just Type your name and PRINT!
It doesn't get any easier than THIS.

Cons: Only downside is the badge thickness - the holes where the clamps are could be thicker.

Overall: Hands down the best experience for the attendee! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product for the EASIEST registration solution ever.

Pros: Loved the seamless check-in, our clients were very impressed. The kiosk setup is professional as well as the Expo Pass personnel. We opted to have someone onsite our first time and she was absolutely amazing. We've signed for year two with absolutely no hesitation - many many thanks for making this (usually) annoying part of our event very easy!

Cons: The internal platform needs to be a little easier to navigate, as well as clearer (an upgrade) to the registration form building. Luckily your team jumps in quickly to assist with these items, but I would love to see an update.

Overall: Overall, this is a solid solution for our Annual Event. We do have monthly virtual events that we have not yet put on the platform - however we have quite an elaborate production process for those, and I don't think we can do that anytime soon.

Pros: For us, Expo Pass is a great solution. Our determining factors include: affordability and ability to use it for multiple events throughout the year; ease of use - we are a small team and we are each able to run the system as necessary; customer support is very responsive; and, the system is flexible - we are able to update, edit, add, delete attendees as needed.

Cons: Only one! The card stock used for badges is not strong enough for multi-day events, but Expo Pass did provide enough stock so that we were able to reprint badges on demand. I would recommend using a sleeve for the badges if you are hosting a multi-day event.

Overall: We had some challenges to overcome at the beginning of our largest event of the year. The point person on our team for Expo Pass went out with a medical emergency the night before our conference opened. Expo Pass was quick to get on the phone/video chat with us to get everything up and running. We were able to open on time and our attendees never knew there was an issue. The Expo Pass team stuck close (electronically) during our entire event. Great experience!

Pros: To start, the Expo Pass team was fantastic! Super helpful, quick to respond, and understood our concerns with implementing a brand new registration system. The team was patient, helpful, reassuring, and made sure our event was set up for success before and during the show. Set up was a breeze and they provided extremely detailed instructions along with virtual support during set up.

Cons: The only thing I would have done different is finding and implementing Expo Pass earlier on in our process. We were on a bit of a time crunch but we were still able to get everything done and ready for our conference.

Overall: I would definitely recommend Expo Pass to anyone looking for onsite badge printing! They were able to integrate with our registration system and the entire process was very seamless and easy to implement. Our conference attendees raved about how great their check-in process was!

Pros: Good equipment, smart Expo Pass employee -- everything went swimmingly! It was easy to use their system and we had no issues at all.

Cons: Nothing, everything was good and we had no problems. The cases for the equipment were impressive and heavy duty.

Overall: Expo Pass makes it easy to register people for conferences. The badges looked good (maybe a little too light weight becuse they kept turning around once on the lanyard, but they looked really good.

Pros: ExpoPass was a great badge check-in service! It was easy, efficient, and an excellent way to keep the lines moving quickly. The feedback from our attendees was incredible. I had several attendees ask me to refer them to ExpoPass for their next event.
Additionally, even though you need to submit your badge design a month ahead of time, the quality and the end results having a customized badge was terrific! Our attendees kept telling me they love the conference badge and the fact they could click onto a QR Code for the agenda was great verses paper copies!

Cons: I wouldn't necessarily say cons but opportunities. Some of the features I wished ExpoPass had would be an auto send letters campaigns (i.e. letters I could set up in advance to go out to registrants and non registrants), Post event Surveys, and improved post event analytics.

Overall: My overall experience was very good. I will definitely recommend ExpoPass especially to non profits and cost conscience companies who have at least 4-6 months (preferably more) to utilize their service, and who want a fast and efficient check-in process for their event.

Pros: Since it was my first time using the product, I appreciated the team ushering me through every step of the process. Every person was patient, answered all my questions, and didn't feel like they were trying to upsell me.

Cons: The price point was higher than some other quotes, but competitors lacked the quality of customer service offered by Expo Pass.

Overall: The product was exactly as billed, fit our needs for our annual conference, and the team was excellent!

Pros: We love the attention to detail and timelines created to help keep us on track for our events. Setting up our registration equipment was a breeze compared to other sources we've used in the past.

Cons: The inability to create our own landing page in Expo Pass for registration. The link to the form was cumbersome to update as we made revisions to the event.

Overall: We value our partnership with Expo Pass and, as such, have extended our contract into 2024 for all of our events.

Pros: The product is very easy to understand and navigate. The features and design were exactly what I needed for the event.

Cons: The product produced everything that my company/event needed.

Overall: I struggle with technology; however, Expo Pass is a very simple tool that provides amazing results. Additionally, the support provided by Expo Pass relieved my anxiety and stress.

Pros: Expo Pass is easy to use from the admin side to the end user. The support staff was there every step of the way.

Cons: The promo codes didn't always work as we wanted, but we were able to work around it easily.

Overall: Expo Pass delivered every step of the way. It was easy to use, problems were corrected & if needed tech support was notified to hopefully correct the problem in the long run.

Pros: The ease of coordinating, the comfort of being just a call away and accessibility of the staff made the process seamless.

Cons: There were no negative experiences using ExpoPass.

Overall: This was one of the best investments we made for our annual event and one that we look forward to continuing to use in the future.
