    "I lost all my money"

    Edited 2022-02-19

Pros: It's very easy to add money to the wallet. It's looks pretty. The interface is good, not necessarily better than any other wallet. It's really hard to find Pros when I actually haven't benefitted from this wallet at all.

Cons: Eclair is the worst wallet I've ever used (I have used 11 different wallets of various currencies at this point). There is NO WAY to get your money back out, unless through LN payments, and 99% of them don't go through, for various reasons. No LN payments have worked for vendors, other wallets, or exchanges, except one. I have no idea why that one worked.

After waiting 10-15min every time you open the app, for it to "map the network," (wasting tons of energy, time, and data every time), you usually find that you still can't actually DO anything with the wallet, despite apparently being connected (yes, I wait for the little percentage to disappear in the corner).
I've tried many different channels, I don't think the channels are the problem..
Eclair does not recognize most QR codes, which is VERY time consuming.
I downloaded this to experiment with the LN, and it has been a colossal disappointment. I'm currently trying to get my money out by making an LN payment to an exchange (thankfully they accept LN pmts), so I can simply have my money back. I'm on my 7th attempt. Out internet is fast, my phone is fine, Eclair is the problem; this is completely unacceptable. IT SEEMS LIKE MY MONEY IS GONE. I cannot make lightning payments and there is no way to move BTC out otherwise.

I highly recommend to everyone to AVOID THIS WALLET. I'm starting to think it's an actual scam :(

Overall: A tremendous waste of time and precious satoshis, I don't really know what to make of this wallet at this point. I just want my money back, and I want others to know to avoid making the mistake of putting any BTC into an Eclair wallet. They have my money and I can't get it back :(
