Pros: As they advertise, it's "simple." Reasonable cost for the 3-user, network version. Relatively intuitive.

Cons: CSV import leaves extraneous leading/trailing quotes in text fields. Notes field has 32K limitation. As best I can tell, the app is only "relational" through Child Displays.

Overall: Used their web form to ask a couple of questions about how to relate imports of a .csv in a child to that of the parent's existing records using a key field, and a general question regarding the "relational" features of the app. No reply. Worked with the app another few days and wrote again through the same form, this time about note field size limitations. Again, no reply. After trying in vain to make the app work for my needs, and assuming that the web contact form was inoperable, I attempted to request a refund through the email addresses on the contact form. All three, sales@, support@, and feedback@databaseoasis.com bounced. I guess my next steps are to contact their web host, their e-commerce store (fastspring), and Arizona's attorney general. Buyer beware.

Pros: I downloaded this several years ago as a trial and was immediately hooked. The simplicity and easy makes it a breeze to create any kind of database anyone would want. Much simpler than trying to navigate the myriad of hoopla with Microsoft.

Cons: Updates are few and far between, but maybe near-perfection is hard to improve.

Overall: I use this product to maintain my geocaching trackables. I can sort by name, number, etc. Plus I print out a .pdf to save to file for quick reference.
