Daedalus wallet is the open source wallet for ada (ADA - The cryptocurrency of Cardano), built to grow with the Cardano blockchain. Daedalus is a secure wallet for the ada cryptocurrency. A new wallet is created by generating a cryptographic set of words (mnemonic). You use it to access your funds on the Cardano blockchain. We don't store your mnemonic, and there is no way to reset it. If you lose your mnemonic, we cannot help you to restore the access to your funds. The mnemonic is handled in your browser and never leaves your computer. However, if a virus or a hacker compromises your computer, the attacker can steal the mnemonic you entered on the AdaLite website and access your funds. AdaLite allows you to access your funds using a hardware wallet. It currently supports Trezor model T, Ledger Nano X and Ledger Nano S. This enables you to interact with AdaLite in the safest manner possible without giving away your mnemonic. An attacker can’t steal your mnemonic or private key since they don’t leave Ledger.     "Solid ADA wallet, requires fast connection and good computing power"

    Pros: Syncs the entire blockchain, so it essentially a node.
    Has a user-friendly way to explore staking pools and delegate.
    Excellent support.
    Updated regularly.

    Cons: Syncs the entire blockchain, so it can be slow (very slow) on some machines (to the point of not being of any use for some people).
    Some websites have more information about staking pools.

    Overall: Very satisfied with it. Works for me. As mentioned above, the main drawback is that it syncs the entire blockchain. If syncing regularly (once a day) it may take a couple of minutes to update. It maybe a problem for people that do not connect frequently (i.e. may take hours to sync).
