Ongoing observation capabilities allow you to adjust your cyber insurance coverage as your business evolves. No hardware or software installation. Artificial intelligence techniques determine your insurable threat rating. Cowbell Factors provide decisive insight into the likelihood and severity of an insurable threat that enables you to select appropriate coverage, implement remediation guidance, and optimize premiums. Fast, automated, continuous exposure assessment puts all the pieces in place to determine the correct policy for your needs. It also means coverage and premiums can be adjusted on an ongoing basis.

Pros: None. We applied for coverage, were told it would be provided only to have Cowbell change the terms and pricing a week later. Avoid.
Cons: Offered to bind coverage based on lengthy application, only to come back a week later and completely change the terms. Jacked up the premium and lowered the coverage limit. Don't waste your time.
Overall: Awful. Wasted our time when our company needed to obtain coverage to satisfy a contractual obligation. Insurance broker is now looking elsewhere.

"Misleading Coverage " Posted 2023-06-16
Pros: Relatively quick to respond. They scheduled a call to review the claim within 24 hours of the incident being reported.
Cons: The policy sold to us has no coverage in the event of a security breach. Despite having specific coverage for social engineering and computer fraud, both have exclusions and provide no coverage if it's determined that there has been a security failure.
Overall: What's the point? I don't understand how you can call a policy cyber insurance, but exclude coverage when a client gets hacked. Unreal.

"Don't use Cowbell if you expect any customer service" Posted 2023-01-23
Pros: Easy quoting.
Cons: No response to emails or phone calls.
Overall: Not what I am used to as an insurance agent. They do not service my clients well. Once they write the business they disappear.
