"Very complete courses at an extremely affordable price."

    Posted 2023-01-03

Pros: Coursera is an excellent platform to improve skills and learn new online courses, the things I liked the most were:

1- Registration for new users within this platform is completely free, in addition, there are also free courses that you can take without paying additional fees, this platform offers basic courses for free and also allows you to register within it and to be able to investigate and explore the various courses that are both free and paid.

2- This platform offers very complete certificates for the completion of each of the courses you take online, these certificates are internationally valid in any country with more which helps you to use this certificate to work in any physical or remote company . These certificates are delivered immediately to the user when you complete a course.

3- I also liked that this platform offers you a wide view of the careers currently in demand, you will be able to view the most demanded careers from around the rubber world so that you can repair yourself and take courses that help you develop that job position in demand This platform offers a wide view of each of the jobs demanded in recognized companies such as Google or Amazon.

4- I also loved the excellent prices that this platform has, offering very low prices for specific courses, but you can also pay an annual subscription within this platform to access the courses unlimitedly, I really love the large number of discounts that there is within this platform to obtain specific courses.

Cons: The only problem that I have found within this platform is that most of the available courses are only available in the English language, which has made it somewhat difficult for my employees to learn within this platform, since some of our employees they do not handle the English language correctly, therefore, they can only access a part of the courses in another language that exist on Coursera. The vast majority of the courses or 90% of the courses available within this platform are only available in the English language as the main point of view is that this platform should implement various languages in the various courses it offers within its platform.

Overall: Coursera has shown a great ability to provide us with unlimited access to a large number of courses within Our Company, I have loved the way in which this platform is able to offer me really complete courses, Where can I access the various sections of the course, it has very professional questions and questionnaires within each course to put into practice each of the things learned, in addition, there are also various projects that have to be done at lunchtime in a course in order to improve knowledge. I really loved the company that generates the cover for this platform. I consider that it has helped me a lot to learn and obtain a large number of courses at a very affordable price. I will continue to use it in the long term since I considered that there are many courses that are my own interest.

"Great tool to learn new skills."

    Posted 2022-01-19

Pros: - There are multiple courses available to learn any skill while sitting at home.
    - Along with skills, it also provides degree programmes from multiple reputed universities around the world.
    - The fee of the courses are relatively quite cheaper than any conventional course fee.
    - The certificates are recognized by many companies and can be uploaded on LinkedIn.

Cons: - It is a good application to learn anything in the free time from anywhere. The downside I felt is that to get the certificates the user have to clear the quiz, but the solution of those quizzes are available on the internet, so anyone can use them for cheating and then that puts the credibility of the certificate earned into danger.

Overall: Overall, Coursera is a great platform to learn skills and courses with the ease of not having to go anywhere, there are some downsides which I addressed above.

Pros: The course options and control given on being able to participate with the lesson by reading the transcript and increasing the speed of the lesson. Which allows me to engage with these courses in the way that is most convenient for me.

Cons: Often times finding my completed lessons or modules to review the material can be complicated.

Overall: Overall, this resource does an amazing job offering helpful courses. But sometimes it can be hard to navigate the platform.

Pros: 1. Coursera provides all kinds of tutorials from a simple course or skill set to a degree.
    2. Its online degree programs are affiliated with top universities around the world.
    3. The cost of the courses are pretty affordable.
    4. The user interface of the tool is minimal and clean.

Cons: 1. Some courses are only limited to the regional languages.
    2. The search bar does not give 100 percent accurate search results.

Overall: Coursera provides a unified platform where a user can enroll and learn a simple skill or a bachelors or master’s degree. The courses are well-built as it increases in difficulty gradually, resulting in grabbing the user's attention span pretty well.

"Amazing learning tools at the click of a button"

    Posted 2021-09-14

Pros: We have a few members of staff who have been behind on skills. By being able to direct them to Coursera, it's allowed us to boost their skills and not suck up the time of another staff member for training. Invaluable learning resource.

Cons: Some courses are too technically advanced and need to be dumbed down, but that may be an end-user problem more than the product.

Overall: We want our staff trained and ready for anything we throw at them. When they aren't, Coursera is there to help bridge those gaps. Very needed.

"Coursera - The new age learning"

    Posted 2020-06-05

Pros: - Many options for exploring.
    - Financial Aid which is very helpful for those who cannot spend money on it.
    - Interactive Quiz in the middle of lectures to ensure better learning.
    - Forums for raising doubts is very interactive.

Cons: - One cannot ask doubts directly to the instructor.
    - Sometimes content on courses is a bit outdated which needs to be taken care of.
    - Sometimes selecting the best course for you might become hard taking the amount of content on Coursera into consideration.

Overall: My experience with Coursera goes back to almost 4 years now, I have been learning from Coursera since my graduation days. I would say learning has become very easy since then.

Nowadays I often see a lot of corporate organizations and educational institutes providing access to most of the content on Coursera for free. The certificates that are provided over the completion are very well valued in the community and the ability of these certificates to get integrated with Linkedin profile is really cool.

"Great tool to learn business analytics with"

    Posted 2020-04-20

Pros: I took a handful of excel classes using coursera and they proved to be very helpful throughout my career. The courses brought me to an intermediate excel level and taught me a handful of business analytics techniques.

Cons: It's hard to stay motivated with online learning so you really need to want to learn subject that you are studying. Far too easy to just put it down and do something else if you don't appreciate the subject.

Overall: Positive overall. They broke subjects down into bite sized chunks and it was a beneficial learning environment. Better than the online classes I took at university.
