Pros: The ControlMap workflow is spot-on and easy to follow! - it's foundation leverages the SDF (Secure Controls Framework), provides an Asset Management Register tied to the Risk Assessment and Treatment Plan, which is then tied to the Controls and resulting Evidence!
The ControlMap system eliminates the need for extra tools to manage our compliance programs.
ControlMap is VERY easy (yes- it actually is easy) to setup and implement, customize to our needs, manage our ISMS, and automates the arduous tasks of evidence collection for audits.
The team at ControlMap have been the most responsive and they make changes and improvements faster than any company we've worked with.
Our Auditors love working with us in ControlMap!!Cons: ControlMap is almost too responsive to customer feedback - in short, they sometimes implement requested features over needed functions, where we (our company and our customers) are more focused on and impressed by the functionality of their software. The good news is that they are SUPER fast in making upgrades to the system, so we still get what we need, when we need it.
Overall: Our overall experience with the ControlMap software and more importantly, their entire team, at all levels, has been an amazingly positive experience... really, we have no complaints!
