    Pros: 1. The ease of use.
    2. Support and collaboration when we have ideas.
    3. Functionality within the system making our process more efficient.

    Cons: Some of the user experience aspects could be enhanced. In some cases, the screens we operate on are subject to maximum sizes where it would be nicer to have full screen as an option.

    Overall: Overall experience with the system and the company has been wonderful. The team at constellation is very helpful whenever we need support.

    Pros: Colen Built has utilized NEWSTAR’s suite of software implementations to streamline processes, better understand and respond to their customers, and modernize operations. Constellation offers a wide-range of products that helps manage the end-to-end operations of a homebuilder. The implementation of NEWSTAR is well organized, and other integrations can be setup with ease.

    Cons: Some user interfaces are dated, although the functionality is more important to us than the UI. The expansive NEWSTAR system can take time to learn for new employees. (If needed: Implementation is lengthy to the scope of the system)

    Overall: Constellation’s customer support team is great to work with, and all implementations are smooth and well-managed. Our end-users rave about the modern tools they get access to through Constellation, like SalesXpress and Homeowner Central.

    Pros: Everything integrates from Sales, Design Center, Purchasing, Construction, Scheduling, Accounting and Warranty. Also, the Purchasing and Estimating functions and versatility with take offs, bid rates with draws and sub contract bidding with draw systems.

    Cons: Longer learning curve, terminology differences with menu functions

    Overall: Overall with my 30 years of Home Building experience, I would give Constellation Newstar a 5 star rating
