"Versatile site designer" Posted 2022-12-28
Pros: Very flexible in terms of design options and produces clean code.
All sites are designed to be responsive and the interface makes it super simple to see how it looks on any size screen.Cons: A bit of a learning curve as the interface is pretty unique.
Might be too much to learn if you don't have the time and only need a super basic site.Overall: We needed to design a site with some unusual aspects so needed software that allows for customization but without the need to code the entire thing - CoffeeCup fit the bill PERFECTLY! There are some complexities with learning to use the program but the user community is very helpful albeit most assistance comes for just 2-3 super-active users.

"Support is key for me " Posted 2022-09-02
Pros: CoffeeCup Site Designer has evolved over many years of development and it shows i'm not sure about other company offering when it comes to choosing a platform to build your website on site designer has you covered. I love how easy it to change your layout around getting the job done in a quicker time. Support from CoffeeCup has been fantastic from the team to the forums.
Cons: The only thing i would like to see is a spell checker but it's no deal breaker.
Overall: As with all web design software there is a bit of a steep learning curve however the forums and video instructions have your back. I have been able to win clients as a result of how bespoke a website i can build with this software.

"Simplicity meets effectiveness " Posted 2022-08-05
Pros: * No code required to produce a robust webpage
* Advanced users can leverage almost any method of web development inside SD
* Clean lightweight exports (HTML , CSS , JS , Assets)
* Built-in CSS frameworks
* Extremely powerful responsive design functionallyCons: * Very very, very small community
* Potentially way to complex for individuals not invested in web development
* Limited CSS & website frameworks
* Start to finish - SD is not efficient in workflow
* Websites that become increasingly larger slow down the client by a significant amountOverall: I've been working with SD since 2018, and I've put countless hours into learning it's functionality. My favorite thing SD is the exporting capability. You can export entire pages into a single inline element. Allowing you to copy/paste whole raw HTML and CSS code blocks anywhere.

Another powerful feature is the ability to integrate any web app or pre built themes if properly references through assets. -

"Best of the best!" Posted 2022-05-30
Pros: You can create beautiful websites with the limit being your imagination. Customer service is great. The forums are a great place to get help and ideas. The Coffee Cup community is always willing to help.
Cons: There is an initial learning curve, as with any software. Once you get the "layout of the land" it is smooth sailing.
Overall: I looked at a number of WYSIWYG site design options when I started. I am so glad I went with Coffee Cup. Cannot imagine a better experience.

"Once tested - then I was hooked!" Edited 2022-05-26
Pros: I'm a coder, so naturally, I was a bit sceptic to begin with. A website editor without coding?
That scepticism vanished pretty fast after I had played with Site Designer for a bit and found that I can do the same things equally well, but much faster, without losing control.
One of the best things is actually that the staff is listening to us users. If we report something weird or ask for a new feature, it doesn't take long before everything has been fixed. One of the latest features that users asked for and which has been built in was the ability to use PHP files.Cons: Not much to write here. We still miss the ability to preview PHP files internally, but maybe we'll have that one day.
Overall: It's the best Web builder I have ever had. It has a helpful staff, and indeed a very helpful user forum, which is 'open' around the clock.

"Site Designer is a must have!" Posted 2022-05-25
Pros: Ease of use is got to be the number one feature of this application. I am able to set up and manage many websites very easily.
Cons: There is a bit of a learning curve. Once you learn where to find everything in the menu systems it becomes quite easy to use.
Overall: As a professional designer I use this product every day. It's easy to use and lots of advanced features for more advanced designers.

"Simply The Best I Have Used" Posted 2022-05-17
Pros: Building a memorable stunning website either from scratch or from one of the themes is a doddle, adding elements to the canvas is intuitive, moving the elements around on the canvas just got a whole lot easier with the latest update. giving elements a semantic name or changing existing names to a different name allows for one of the easiest and most straightforward methods to comply with the "WEBSITES FOR ALL" HTML5 layout. This software is great for the hobbyist, building a personal website, the enthusiast, building for friends & family or the professional building for business.
The support for any problems or issues from members of the forum is outstanding and full of helpful members.
To top it all there is a free trial available with no holds barred fully featured, discover the applications features and abilities before you buy, that's got to be a big +Cons: Not much to dislike, sometimes if the application has been open and used for long periods, it tends to hang a little bit, easily resolved by closing, grabbing a cup of tea, or coffee then starting it again.
Overall: The title says it all.
