CattleWorks cattle software is designed to provide the cow/calf producer a simple, but effective method of managing and maintaining herd and animal records. This information can be used to analyze overall herd and animal health, productivity, and profit potential. As with any software, the information and benefit derived is directly proportionate to the effort and accuracy in which information is entered into the program. In comparison to handwritten records, the effort is much the same, however, the results can be much more beneficial. The authors of CattleWorks are both experienced cattlemen as well as software developers. Configure general parameters here such as; Pasture Names, Breed Names, Medical Procedures and Custom Events. Add cattle, move cattle into pastures, record cattle purchases & sales, record births and losses and log all types of medical events. Reports provide information such as; herd inventory, pasture inventory, animal details, weaning reports, calf production.

The first of the series was iCattleMgr, (formerly named iCattleLog). Originally built as a prototype to replace handwritten log books that keep track of show cattle. When version 1.0 was released in iTunes we quickly realized that there is a dire need for applications like this for the agriculture industry. The response was exciting, we received numerous request for enhancements and struggled to keep up with demand. Because of this we realized the initial prototype design would not be flexible enough to keep up with request for enhancements. It covers over 90 pieces of information about the health, well being and status of your livestock inventory. Your data is stored and backed up through iCloud so it is always safe. Each Animal record can have a picture from your camera or photo library. Your team can have up to date status and inventory information across all devices.
