Tesseract is a creative video engine from Mirage designed specifically for AI agents to edit and render professional video projects. The platform gives agents direct access to native video concepts such as keyframes, adjustment layers, compositions, timing, footage layers, and sound instead of representing edits through HTML or React. Agents can use Tesseract to cut footage, create motion graphics, composite visual elements, adjust audio, and render finished videos from the same editable project. Users can review previews, request targeted revisions, and change individual layers or moments without recreating the entire video. Tesseract runs locally on macOS, Windows, and Linux and can be used with supported agents including ChatGPT, Claude, Muse, Grok Bot, and Instinct. The local creative engine is free to use, while any AI model or agent subscription costs remain separate.
