CSAM Cardio is a vendor-independent system which captures signals from any ECG equipment and makes the data available in diagnostic tools in patient journals. The Capital Region of Denmark uses CSAM Cardio to handle between 800 000 and one million ECGs per year. CSAM Cardio covers all basic needs for ECG-related data management. The system is completely independent of hardware manufacturer and file format. With CSAM Cardio, healthcare professionals can archive, manage and deliver ECG data from XMLs, PDFs and scanned hardcopy printouts. CSAM Cardio allows users to upload data from a range of medical devices simultaneously. The solution is designed to allow several authorized personnel to work on the same document at the same time from different locations. It also allows every hospital and local health centre within a regional health authority with journal authorization to link directly to CSAM Cardio.
