    "Not complete, unfinished development"

    Posted 2024-12-16

Pros: There are a couple of third party apps used with the system like Salsify are good but because Blueport keeps full control (Admin), you can only use what is given to you.

Cons: Cost model requires paying Blueport a percentage of revenue,
    No CMS,
Changing the homepage requires a person and content with HTML/CSS and Bootstrap experience,
Blueport keeps all control limiting making any changes without their approval and support,
    Cobbled together 3rd party applications,
    Understaffed development and support,

Overall: To start they want to take a percentage of revenue. The platform is missing a CMS and there is no way to add one. Any changes to layout or adding content is either hand coded by the user and/or requires Blueport to make changes with their minimal resources taking time and costs money. The system is cobbled together with a bunch of 3rd party apps like Salsify which is fine but they own the license and getting any changes is near impossible. The cost is extremely high and implementation can take way too long. There are no added capabilities for furniture retailer. I do not recommend this platform or company.
