Beambox

Pros: If I’m being honest, there really are none, though I suppose I could say that it is very easy to use and they offer a free trial.

Cons: Very basic service,
Severely lacking in features,
Overpriced for what you receive,
Rude/inept support.

Overall: I had this Beambox device/service installed at my restaurant for a few months. Do yourself a favor and don’t even expend the effort of a free trial… this solution is incredibly and frustratingly basic. It’s cheap but it’s still not worth the money. Basically all it does is prompt your wifi users to like a Facebook page or Twitter account and nothing more. You can achieve these simple things without using this software or paying for it. This is a field where all other companies affordably offer so much more. Support is also rude and conceited. Normally I would say it’s great to support a company small enough where the owner is hands on, but I cannot say a single positive thing about what this company actually provides. Disappointed I wasted time even trying this. I don’t understand what possible client could be happy with this product unless they are just unaware of what else is out there.
