    "Worked better than Microsoft’s troubleshooter"

    Posted 2024-01-29

Pros: This driver updater is effective and simple. You don’t have to install all updates at once if you don’t want to. Just update one specific driver that’s not working right. Which is what I did on my computer and it worked well.

Cons: It wasn’t clear from the beginning whether backup was enabled by default. I had to look for it in settings and test the app on a minor driver to make sure backup was on and working. You can enable it in settings but would be nice to have the backup status displayed somewhere visible.

Overall: A coworker recommended the app when I was having sound issues on Skype. It got so bad that I had to quit using Skype for calls I tried fixing Skype with Microsoft troubleshooter but it found nothing wrong. Auslogics identified the problematic sound card driver, updated it and the problem was gone instantly. I would recommend trying Auslogics when there is something wrong with hardware on your computer.
