Apple Photos

Pros: Apple Photos allows high accessibility to a gallery of any user. The things I liked the most were:

1- Apple Photos allows you to synchronize all the photos with the iCloud system, in this way you can access your photos when you access your Apple devices and have the same iCloud account linked, in addition, this helps you keep your photos safe inside iCloud Drive, like a backup, all your photos will be stored there if you turn on sync.

2- You can organize each of the photos in different folders, you can extract them from the "recent" folder and organize them as you wish in folders with their own name, in addition, each of the applications has a separate folder, to store photos of Individually, such as WhatsApp or Telegram, they have their own folders in Apple Photos to store photos from their apps.

3- Apple Photos automatically detects the faces of a group of photos to identify them in the "people and places" section, in addition, it records each of the places where the people in your gallery have taken the photos, records the location in Apple Maps.

4- Apple Photos has incredible security for the "deleted" and "hidden" section. Users can activate security on their device such as facial authentication, people must use this authentication to access that section of the gallery.

5- Videos, Screenshots, Live Photos, and Portrait Photos are separated into individual folders within Apple Photos, which helps the overall organization of the gallery on my device.

Cons: The things I didn't like about Apple Photos were:

1- This platform does not have a tagging system for photos, you cannot add notes or attached tags to the photos you have in your gallery. That is quite a negative since if you want to add a specific note for a memory or an old photo, you cannot.

2- All the photos in your gallery are stored within Apple iCloud if you activate the synchronization option, however, it is important to note that this photo synchronization takes a long time, even on some occasions this storage of photos in the cloud takes up to more than 2 hours to complete successfully, that's a big negative as I'd love to upload all my photos and videos to iCloud without waiting that long.

Overall: Apple Photos means a lot to me because it helps me manage all the photos I have in my gallery, I should also point out that I would love it if the photos I download in browsers are stored directly in my gallery and not in the Apple Files section of my device, since it is quite annoying to have to access that folder to extract the photo to my gallery. In general, Apple Photos is perfect for managing a large group of photos, it detects all kinds of people's faces in the photos, it allows you to see the Live playback of all the photos you have taken, in addition, Apple Photos also has a video cropping feature , add filters to photos and videos, add shapes or drawings, and much more. Apple Photos covers the gallery section of my phone very well, I am completely satisfied.

Pros: Free. There is virtually nothing positive I can say that is good about this product as it never really works. Can't get it to operate.

Cons: It simply does not work well - at all. I have a brand new Mac mini - best chip. Nothing else is on this machine - completely empty storage and I am using a high quality Seagate external storage for my 45K photos. The program will start up, but under duress and spinny wheel. Greyed out photos consistently, and product has to be restarted for any changes to take place. 8 exchanges with support and no solution available. Awful.

Overall: Sad to say it has been very poor. The support people with whom I speak are great, but unable to resolve.

Pros: You can view the photos on both your Apple computer and phone. But, my all time favorite feature is being able to share albums and photos with others who have apple phones. It makes it so easy to see the memories of those around you!

Cons: If someone doesn't have an Apple product it is hard to share the pictures with that individual.

Overall: Overall, if you are surrounded by others who use Apple Photos just like you it is the best way to share and enjoy your memories and others as well.

Pros: 1. It helps in organizing all the pictures at one place.
2. Multiple folders can be created for different pictures, it also has a recent folder to show all the recently added pictures.
3. The application is smooth to use and well optimized.
4. There are also basic editing option like cropping, rotate and filters option available directly in the photos application for normal fixes.
5. Images can also be searched via a text box and or people faces.

Cons: It is a clean and smooth gallery application from Apple which works great in every Apple device, No cons in my opinion.

Overall: Overall, Apple Photos is an application to organize and view all the pictures at one place. It is smooth and optimized and works flawlessly in every Apple device.

Pros: - It is smooth photo gallery with attractive animations and transition.
- It automatically creates slideshows with pictures of events.
- Photo can be edited inside the application with many useful tools.
- It can be integrated with other Apple application.
- Photos can be backed up directly from the application to iCloud.
- It automatically creates photo memories with transitions.

Cons: - It does not allow categorizing the photo manually according to the user.

Overall: Overall, Apple Photos is a great application to manage photos and do post-processing on it by editing. It is smooth to use and does not make the device lag.

Pros: It is great to always have my pictures at the touch on all of my products. The interface is very sleek.

Cons: Sometimes hard to find the right photos due to organization. Editing can be a huge pain sometimes.

Overall: Overall it is a nice bulk storage app but needs a little work on organization and editing. I would say I am mostly satisfied.

Pros: Apple photos is so reliable! I am able to capture the moments happening around me knowing that apple is going to sync my photos and I will be able to browse them on any device later.

Cons: More free cloud storage would be great. It's frustrating to be sold storage.

Overall: This app does more than just stores photos it creates memories, you can search for photos based on a timeframe and even use facial recognition! It's the best.

Pros: Having an app where you can track all of your photos by day uploaded is good for chronological sorting.

Cons: Will not save files in RAW, forcing edits to be held elsewhere. Sorting can be messy.

Overall: You're better off manually uploading, organizing, and tracking photos than using this software. It is cumbersome and will automatically alter RAW files.

Pros: I love how I have easy access to all my photos no matter which device I'm on. And it's easy to make albums and share them with friends and family.

Cons: There really isn't anything bad to say about Apple Photos. It works just as it should!

Overall: I've been really pleased with Apple Photos. Knowing all my memories are backed up to the cloud is great!

Pros: I like how the photos app makes cool videos of your photos. It creates memories from your photos to show you through time what you have done or accomplished it's super cool.

Cons: The tabs, organization of Apple Photos is so confusing. I hope they fix the UI in the new iOS update.

Overall: Photos does what it needs to do with holding photos but I wish I could navigate it better and it would be easier to find old pictures.

Pros: Apple Photos is helpful for storing all of my photos. We take lots of them on our phones! Very useful.

Cons: I wish Apple Photos had a way to distinguish between everyday photos and special family photos. I get tired of scrolling through all of my photos to look for something. The albums feature doesn't work very well.

Overall: Overall, I would recommend Apple Photos and our family uses it regularly. I haven't found anything better than this.
