Affinda Resume Parser

Pros: This product is very easy to use and does a great job with import captures on most document types. The speed of the capture process is very good, even with large documents. The addition of the resume review tool in the web dashboard has been super helpful in identifying problems with the import process.

Cons: Too many nonrelevant skills are captured in resume parser.
Capturing the location of an address record is sometimes inaccurate.

Overall: I am quite satisfied with the service. Affinda gave us 3 months free service to set up and trial. The support desk could be more thorough in their responses with support tickets.

Overall: Experience with Affinda and their staff has been a very helpful in trying to understand our situation and use case before trying to onboard us as we client. Brendan in particular has been the main reason why we decided to continue our relationship with Affinda. He is able to advise on our use case and try to further assist us in our testing phase.

Pros: Affinda Resume Parser provides exceptional accuracy when parsing resumes. They support multiple file formats, and resume writing styles.

API response times are great, and have been very easy to work with/integrate.

Additionally, the team at Affinda is very easy to work with. They are a great partner to work with, and I foresee more business opportunity in the future.

Cons: As of writing, I have not found any dislikes or problems with their service.

Overall: Easy to use, easy to implement, easy to work with. Affinda Resume Parsing has delivered exceptional value for Wirkn. Candidate profiles are much easier to create, which has resulted in higher conversion rates.

Pros: It was very easy to embed the CV parser in our existing systems and processes. Clear and transparent API documentation for our development team to take forward. Tailored solution to CV's (of varying structures) which makes it more accurate than some broader solutions out there. Customer service is very much on the ball.

Cons: Nothing we didn't like actually. If I had to add something, I'd say we found the accuracy on education to be lower than some other types of data. With some further training, I'm sure this will increase over time. Even at current level it suffices for our use case.

Overall: Affinda's CV parser has helped us implement a new feature in our system quickly, easily and with high level of accuracy. The flexibility to try and test it out first has been very valuable for our team to gain confidence in their solution.

Pros: The best with challenging resumes.

Cons: Not the fastest that we tested - other solutions were faster.

Overall: I am a project service officer for an electricity infrastructure company in Australia. We run dozens of projects at any one time with a mix of contractors and employees. Most of our workforce is not ‘experienced’ in the art of writing resumes, meaning that the challenge of parsing their data is hard and has caused many issues in the past with hiring. Affinda has made it a lot better for us, in the short time we have been with them. Our hiring managers are much happier with the quality of the tool, we lose less time.

Pros: Parses both PDF and DocX resumes.

Intuitive RESTful API with good documentation.

Cons: May take up to 3seconds to parse a resume which is honestly still very good in terms of industry standards.

Overall: Fantastic, accurate resume parser, better and more affordable than alternatives in the market. Would recommend to anyone considering resume parsing.

Pros: Good pricing, product, service, good quality clean data.

We conducted a thorough search. The firm processes thousands of resumes a week and having an accurate resume parser helps the team save significant amounts of time in managing candidate data.

Cons: No interface, have to integrate into system using API.

Having some issues on Norwegian CVs but the team is working through that with us.

Not being in the same timezone as their technical team slowed us down a little.

Overall: Best mix of value and quality.

Good quality parser with very clean data. Great range of languages and attractive commercial terms.

Pros: Solution is able to extract all details and relevant information onto various file formats - i prefer excel, from tonnes of Resumes that make it very easy to narrow down on "best fit" candidates.

Cons: Whats not to like? A feature that would be good to see is a generic dashboard eg. average years of experience.

Overall: Product is mature and very intuitive and easy to navigate with us support/training.
Support is seamless.
Can easily integrate with our CRM solution.

Pros: Simple easy to use and effective. Matthew is a huge asset to the firm as well.

Cons: Nothing so far, all have been fine.

Overall: Very good product, company, service ethos and Matthew is a real joy to work with.

Pros: - Good flexibility; we have some unique requirements and they were able to work with us on that.
- Good quality parsing, one of two companies that we trialed that had almost flawless results.

Cons: - Support team is in Australia so timezone issues make them a bit slower to respond, but overall fixes do come through quickly enough.

Overall: Overall, we are very happy with having switched. Problems are resolved quickly. The Hiring team is very pleased, it has saved them a lot of headaches.
