Absorb LMS

Pros: Honestly, I can't say enough good things about this platform. The platform allows us to run multiple different ways of learning to best help our participants. The support from the Absorb team is just amazing! Our platform wouldn't be as good as it is now without their help!

Cons: There are a few things that I would want fixed but they are minor. Like different views/information in the reporting area. BUT on the plus side the feedback I give I know is always taken into consideration and hopefully will be fixed in the future!

Pros: The ease of use! Our employees have enjoyed the easy navigation of the portal. I love the admin page and find it to be so helpful when pulling reports and loading new users.

Cons: I struggle with setting up live courses but this might be trial and error on my part. I probably need to just get the hang of it.

Overall: They are eliminating a lot of my day to day admin work. The system allows file feeds which help set up new users and places them in the correct trainings. I have a lot more time to work on other projects now.

Pros: The best part is the support - at every stage. It is very easy to get a quick response and a thorough explanation. Employees find Absorb easy to use which is important. Administering Absorb takes a bit of time to get the hang of but once you go through the actions a couple of times it really become quiet easy to use.

Cons: Not being able to join an instructor led training from the Teams calendar. Limited create tools.

Overall: Overall I enjoy Absorb and our employees also enjoy using it. Once you get the hand of it Absorb is great to use. I would definitely choose Absorb again when vetting learning systems.

Pros: This LMS platform is very user friendly and easy to learn. The help resources on Absorb's website are very useful and easy to find answers to feature requests. The customer service has been excellence and always respond promptly and able to set up meetings if required.

Cons: The ability to customize courses could be more robust.

Overall: The overall experience has been wonderful with great features and customer service. I would recommend Absorb to other companies.

Pros: We were very fortunate to have "Success Manager" Tamar Lupo when we implemented Absorb! She is responsive and takes the time to explain things in a user friendly way - knowledgeable without being to "techy". Her ability to provide an overview of how we can get to our end goal both with what we have already purchased and but also new features or add-ons that may be beneficial -but not too "salesy".

Cons: This was a very expensive investment - and we went a bit over budget in our first year, but have managed better in our subsequent years with the support of Absorb team who made excellent recommendations to best suit our needs.

Overall: While we have regular interaction with Tamar, we have also found most folks with whom we have connected at Absorb to be knowledgeable and willing to help. They have taken any concerns seriously and worked to help us resolve them promptly.

Pros: I liked that Absorb gives a user interface that is simple to understand with a lot of customization. I have enjoyed making templates for my department to access resources within Absorb with little difficulty. Whenever I need help, there is always someone from Absorb who is knowledgeable and able to help answer any questions that I may have. Even my Account Manager (Billy), has been phenomenal in assisting with making Absorb a great product for our department.

Cons: When it comes to reporting, I feel that my industry (healthcare) has limitations. I have tried getting specific metrics such as timestamps in viewed courses and other important metrics that the Absorb Analyze reporting feature has not been able to produce. Also, the redesign of the course layout limits our users to open links on the course page. This change has made viewing our recorded lectures hard to maintain focus and engagement with our users.

Overall: My experience using Absorb has been a good one so far. I have experience using different learning management systems as an Instructional Designer, so learning the different tools in Absorb was easy to learn. The homepage for the users to view and use is easy to customize and modify. I am able to add users easily, and edit courses with little difficulty.

Pros: The implementation team and everyone we've work with so far have been incredibly helpful. It was a thoughtful process to get our team to a place that we were comfortable with how to create our system to meet our unique needs.

Cons: We were hoping for a larger user interface through Teams, but that may come later.

Overall: Although it is still early days, we are confident this was exactly what we need to meet our current demand and to grow with us. The implementation phase is over, but I know we will have solid support on an ongoing basis.

Pros: Integration managers are quick to respond, helpful, have a clearly laid out plan for implementation right from the start removing any guess work. The support team is also very helpful after implementation!

Lots of functionality and integration components.

Cons: No app for managers or trainers to use for observation checks and reporting.

Overall: Overall, my experience with Absorb has been great and they are a great company to work with. They offer many solutions that enable better training and development and provide a solid platform for organizations of many sizes.

Pros: Ease of Use, User Friendly, Course creation is easy, Learner feedback has been positive Manager Experience is starting to take off.

Cons: Limitations on Reporting especially through Manager Experience.

Overall: Started a year ago, and have found this software to be very forgiving. I also use UKG LMS and find Absorb to be more user friendly and easier to manipulate.

Pros: What I find most compelling about Absorb LMS, particularly in terms of content creation, is its seamless blend of user-friendliness and robust functionality. As a content creator, having access to intuitive tools is paramount, and Absorb LMS delivers on this front very well.

Cons: One aspect I find less favorable about Absorb LMS is the limited flexibility in customizing certain features and templates. While the platform offers a range of pre-designed options, there are times when I wish for more control over the design elements to better align with specific instructional needs.

Overall: Absorb LMS stands out for its intuitive content creation tools, making it easy to design engaging learning materials with minimal effort. The drag-and-drop interface simplifies the process, allowing for seamless customization of multimedia elements.

Pros: I appreciate how accessible and thorough our CSM was when getting my team acclimated to the LMS. I am new to the L&D space and being able to boost my teams trainings with Absorb Create's interactivity features has been great.

Cons: This platform is extremely customizable which is great but the learning curve from an admin end was pretty steep. If I wasn't tech savvy I think I would have struggled.

Overall: I appreciate how accessible and thorough our CSM was when getting my team acclimated to the LMS. I am new to the L&D space and being able to boost my teams trainings with Absorb Create's interactivity features has been great.

Pros: Ease of use. Great Support staff. Absorb is always pushing the boundaries on what an LMS can offer to a company. I love the current platform and I am so excited by what the future holds.

Cons: So far I have not had any issues with content creation and implementation. When I need help on any subject to broaden my own understanding, the support staff is quick to help and always are so pleasant to work with.

Overall: Overall, I feel so grateful that my company chose Absorb as our LMS. The training and onboarding has been really great and worthwhile. I love the content creation tools in Absorb Create and I am excited by the new AI features.

Pros: So easy to implement and begin using. Absorb LMS has a lot of great learning experiences and reporting features. From an admin perspective it's so easy to use and very intuitive.

Cons: Survey feature isn't quite where our team needs it to be. A lot of limitations with Create as well from a design perspective.

Overall: Great LMS that's easy to use as a leaner or administrator. The analytics behind it are fantastic for our team. I also love how customizable it is as well as the great customer experience it provides!

Pros: Love the people from sales to customer service.
Easy navigation and little to no technical issues.
They have an Ideas Portal and it allows clients to submit ideas and they actually show the progress.

Cons: Course uploading takes too long when editing. The syncing with GO1 is not immediate and takes over a week to sync.

Overall: Absorb has met all our initial needs and continues to evolve in the LMS world. The Managers Experience is so important and mine love this feature.

Pros: Absorb has been a great platform for user experience. It has made integrating content into an LMS as seamless as possible.

Cons: There are a bit of roadblocks as not everything is customizable like a WordPress site but I am sure it would be a pain for their developers.

Overall: Overall, I have had a great experience with absorb. During UAT, the users seem to have no complaints and that in itself is a win.

Pros: Nice intro to the learning organization system. Took us from just using powerpoints and scheduling on outlook to having everything accessible in one place and tracking who completed what when.

Cons: Reporting has been a little bit of a headache and not being able to mass edit things makes edits timely.

Overall: It's been nice! I think it does what we need it to do and could be built out more with additional time and resources.

Pros: I really love their quick 24/7 support and I love that you can also call them and someone will pick up the phone. because usually that is very urgent so having someone to pick up the phone right away is really important.

Cons: I think Absorb seems to be limited in customization but maybe I just don't fully know how to use the LMS.

Overall: I am happy with Absorb and will continue to use Absorb and would recommend Absorb to others because it met my current needs in a LMS.

Pros: Ease of use and the wide variety of resources and tools available for support. Customer service is exceptional as well.

Cons: There is nothing in particular that stands out at the moment.

Overall: Overall, we have had a wonderful experience with the program and are excited about the program's growth in the future.
