Aave is an open source and non-custodial liquidity protocol for earning interest on deposits and borrowing assets. Aave is a decentralized non-custodial money market protocol where users can participate as depositors or borrowers. Depositors provide liquidity to the market to earn a passive income, while borrowers are able to borrow in an overcollateralized (perpetually) or undercollateralized (one-block liquidity) fashion. At Aave, security is our top priority and we are constantly auditing and improving our protocol. The funds are stored in a non-custodial smart contract on the Ethereum blockchain.
