ProSafe-RS Lite
ProSafe-RS Lite conforms to the international safety standard for up to SIL2 application. You can select the ProSafe series from SIL2 (ProSafe-RS Lite), SIL3 (ProSafe-RS), and SIL4 (ProSafe-SLS). Continued functional enhancements to ProSafe series help you run your plants safely. Established by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), a safety integrity level (SIL) indicates the relative level of risk provided by a safety function. SILs 1 through 4 are defined by IEC 61508. Compared to a plant where safety measures are not in place, at SIL2 the risk factor is reduced to between 1/100 and 1/1,000. At SIL3, the risk factor is in a range between 1/1,000 and 1/10,000. At SIL4, the risk factor is in a range between 1/10,000 and 1/100,000. ProSafe-RS Lite inherits the highly reliable technology of ProSafe-RS, and by combining it with CENTUM VP/ProSafe-RS, enables integrated operation that includes process and safety control.

ProSafe-RS
The ProSafe-RS safety instrumented system is a TÜV certified Safety Instrumented System (SIS) for use in SIL 1, 2, and 3 applications in a single modular configuration, with superior availability in a redundant configuration. It can be a standalone system or tightly integrated with our CENTUM VP Distributed Control System. Yokogawa industrial safety systems minimize interruptions with highly reliable protection at all SIL levels, real-time dashboards, quantifying current and future risks, and virtual scenario testing to assess the impact of future bypasses and overrides. Online modification, which allows plants to continue to run during upgrades, automated compliance reporting to optimize testing frequency, and cradle-to-grave service and lifecycle assurance. ProSafe-SLS
ProSafe-SLS is Yokogawa's solid-state, hard-wired safety instrumented system designed to meet the highest safety integrity requirements. The product line meets specific requirements for individual safety instrumented systems and offers all safety integrity levels (SIL 3-4) for the oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical, nuclear and conventional power industries. ProSafe-SLS safety instrumented system is also fully integrated with Yokogawa's CENTUM VP process control system as well as the FAST/TOOLS SCADA software package. The modular design of the ProSafe-SLS safety system allows for building all kinds of applications, ranging from small HIPS systems to large ESD and F&G systems while maintaining the fastest possible response time to follow any process demand.
