About

Tuskr is a cloud test management platform for teams. It brings test case creation, planning, execution, issue tracking, reporting, and collaboration into one workspace, reducing reliance on spreadsheets. Teams can build test cases with rich text, tables, images, custom fields, and spreadsheet imports while managing manual and automated testing together. Test Plans simplify recurring work by grouping Test Runs and reusing setups. Tuskr AI helps create and update test cases, make bulk changes, build targeted runs, analyze trends, and generate charts. Dashboards, burndown charts, metrics, and PDF reports provide visibility. Issues can be created, assigned prioritized, tracked, and linked to failed tests. Integrations, REST API, webhooks, Zapier, and Make connect Tuskr with development tools. Security includes audit trails, 2FA, SSO, role-based access, and version history. A free plan supports five users, with a 15-day trial for paid plans.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • The UI is super simple and fast, yet provides all we need in my test teams. Product is good quality (stable, not buggy) and actively developed with frequent feature releases. When working in a team, e.g. when executing test runs, you immediately see changes done by other users.
  • Brand new and no legacy. Seem to take their stuff serious, very few bugs and good usage experience. Very fast, features are well thought out and never seem half baked. Pricing is competitive.
  • - User-friendly interface that is easy to navigate - Seamless integration with popular testing frameworks - Ability to create and execute test cases quickly and efficiently - Comprehensive test reporting and analytics that provide valuable insights - Collaborative features that allow team members to work together seamlessly
  • New technology SPA webapp, very responsive, therefore, no flickering or reloads. It covers my needs for having a quick checklist with some hints on what to verify. For free for now. Good progress on new features. Direct contact to the founders, as I know them personally - helps on getting features added and glitches fixed ;-)
  • I can do my regression testing in a highly dynamic way. I change my test cases all the time during testing. Testiny is not forcing any strong process on me, so it’s like a better structured excel. Hope they stay long in their beta, as it’s free as long as its beta. Also I know one of the founders, direct access to the creator for giving feedback is really a plus.

Cons

  • Would like to see more integrations to ticketing systems (seems to be on the roadmap).
  • Little to no documentation (but on the other hand, what for?)
  • Some more advanced features are still in development.
  • It lacks (at least for now) features other test management tools have. Collaboration within a team (like notifications on comments, etc.) is therefore tricky.
  • Would prefer some more reporting I can sent to my customers.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • With tuskr, you get great features. We like writing our test cases in spreadsheets instead of writing them in the software itself. With tuskr we can do it seamlessly with their spreadsheet import functionality. We also like their UI. It's clean and easy. Last but not the least is their pricing. It's a deal!
  • Tuskr has lots of features but still looks simple and easy to use. Some of the things we like are 1) rich-text editor with the ability to attach images for each step 2) Excel import functionality 3) variety of custom fields We also love their fully customisable integrations. We have tuned our JIRA integration which we were unable to do so in another product (expensive one!!) that we used earlier. Their pricing is also perfect. I never understood why a test case management tool should cost above 30 USD! At 5 USD per user, Tuskr is perfect.
  • The software has a comprehensive feature set and is straightforward. Most of our team did not require any training and for those who did, we could train them in less than an hour. Price is another big plus.
  • - Easy to use and intuitive - Feature-rich without unnecessary bloat - Inexpensive - it is priced well below the competition

Cons

  • We would have liked integrated bug tracking. We have to use a different tool but maybe the software developers would not switch from JIRA anyway. I think their bug tracking integration could have been better.
  • They don't have a dark mode but their support tells me that it is coming soon. Would have also liked exporting test results so that we can show them to our client. I have reported this and they have assured me that it is coming soon too.
  • Nothing at this price point. We got everything we wanted. It would have been helpful if there were a few training videos.
  • - No advanced and cross-project reporting. - No inbuilt bug tracking
