About

Testifly is a web-based autonomous QA and end-to-end testing platform for teams that need to check web applications without building and maintaining test scripts. Users connect an application URL and, when needed, test credentials; Testifly discovers pages and user flows, creates automated tests, and runs them on a schedule, across releases, and through CI/CD pipelines. The platform adapts tests when application behavior or interface elements change, and provides run results, session video, and failure analysis. Teams can organize tests by features and suites, monitor test coverage, and connect work items from Jira, Linear, or Notion. Slack notifications and MCP access support development workflows, while the Test Execution API can trigger runs from CI/CD systems. Plans include cloud use, with on-premises or self-hosted execution options on qualifying plans.

About

Testim is the fastest path to resilient end-to-end tests—codeless, coded or both. Testim lets you create amazingly stable codeless tests that leverage our AI, but also the flexibility to export tests as code. You can leverage Testim’s modern JavaScript API and your IDE to debug, customize or refactor tests. Store them in your version control system to keep them in sync with branches and run tests on every commit. Run parallel, cross-browser tests on our test cloud or Selenium-compatible grids while integrating with your CI and dev tools to run smoke tests on pull requests, end-to-end tests on release candidates, or full regression suites on a schedule. Customers like Microsoft, Salesforce, NetApp, Wix, and JFrog run millions of tests on Testim each month. Learn more on our website and sign up for your free account!

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Testim makes browser automation easier through its visual test editor and record-and-playback functionality. I liked how user interactions can be converted into reusable test steps. The screenshots and step-by-step execution history are particularly helpful when identifying failures in application workflows.
  • Testim has improved the testing process and took it to another level by improving the software testing process efficacy and efficiency. It helps in reducing the time and manual intervention by automating the web, mobile and salesforce testing significantly. The process involves, low code/ no code test authoring process which completes within minutes unlike other software's which takes hours. Specialized salesforce and mobile support features are the best
  • Testim’s self-healing AI locator strategy drastically reduces script flakiness, while its intuitive low-code recorder enables rapid test creation and seamless CI/CD integration.
  • The AI features were genuinely helpful. I used the 7-day free trial as a data analyst and web development student to test my major project (an e-commerce website). Testim quickly helped me catch bugs and logical errors that I had missed during manual testing. The smart locators and AI suggestions made it much easier to create and run tests without writing a lot of code. For someone who is still learning web development, this was a big advantage. Recording tests felt natural and the results clearly pointed out issues in the user flow and logic
  • What I liked most about Testim during my trial is how quickly I could understand the basic workflow for creating UI tests. The interface is fairly easy to follow, and I liked being able to see test steps visually instead of working only with code and logs. It made experimenting with browser-based testing much more approachable for me.

Cons

  • Some test steps can become unreliable when website elements change or pages behave differently than expected. Troubleshooting failed steps could be clearer, and maintaining tests for dynamic web applications could be more straightforward.
  • We did face some integration issue at the time of deployment but after that everything went well for us and so far its running smoothly
  • Custom JavaScript steps can be cumbersome to implement, and pricing scales steeply.
  • The free trial is only 7 days, which feels short if you want to thoroughly test a full e-commerce site with many pages and flows. I would have liked a bit more time to explore advanced features and larger test suites. Pricing after the trial is not clearly shown, so it’s hard to know if it would fit a student budget long-term
  • Some of the more advanced features take time to understand, especially if you are still learning automated testing. Since I am currently using the trial, I also cannot fully judge the long-term value or pricing yet.
