About

Stonk Journal is free trading journal that focuses on quick and easy journal entry experience for seamless integration with your daily trading routine. Our trading journal provides users with a beautiful and simple to use UI where traders can gain insight into their trading habits, track progress, strategies, mistakes, and more so that they can improve their trading ROI and risk management. We are a zero barriers to entry trading journal.

About

TickerReplay is a post-trade journal for stock and options traders. It reconstructs trades from brokerage executions, keeping multi-leg spreads, rolls, assignments, exercises, and expirations connected rather than treating each fill as a separate trade. Users can import CSV files from Interactive Brokers, tastytrade, thinkorswim, Robinhood, or a generic format, or sync fills from supported brokerages. Reports include win rate, expectancy, profit factor, drawdown, R multiples, exit efficiency, and performance by symbol and strategy. Risk-dependent statistics exclude trades without known risk rather than estimating a stop. Traders can add notes and strategy tags, customize dashboards, and export data as CSV or JSON. The free plan includes up to 30 trades per rolling 30 days; paid plans add unlimited trades, brokerage sync, and additional strategy and coaching features. TickerReplay reviews completed trades and does not provide live market data or order execution.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • It's free, but it has all the necessary features. Easy and clear to use. Modern interface design. Detailed data on each trade. The ability to attach images.
  • 1. I like how I can review my win/loss rates over several different timeframes, to see if I am truly doing better. 2. I like the tags, journaling, and ability to upload pics. (I use Power Point to annotate the screen shots). I also like the various parameters you can add, like how confident you are and such. 3. The price is perfect!
  • Not evaluated much as it lacks the key feature import trades. Seems a good UI and performance is good too.

Cons

  • There are no obvious disadvantages. But I would add: 1 The total number of trades, not just the positive and negative trades separately. 2 The total number of commissions paid. 3. The percentage of profitable trades in long and short for comparison.
  • There is a learning curve, and I'm still learning. There is no "manual" or solid help file that I can find that does a good job of describing all the features...just sort of click and see what happens.
  • Can't import trades which is a key feature I am looking for.
