Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Easy to use. The workflow generation and application is intuitive and allows for a variety of process integrations. I like its ability to centralize and efficiently organize documents. It offers advanced encryption, access control and change tracking options, which ensures the confidentiality and integrity of information. In addition, its ability to automate workflows, perform advanced searches and generate detailed reports helps us optimize document management and improve operational efficiency in our company. For the most part, it is easy and intuitive to use. The online training is a huge bonus and has helped me figure out how to do many things. Square 9 offers powerful document capture and workflow automation tools. It's highly customizable and integrates well with other business systems. We are really enjoying using Global search to rid ourselves of paper files. We also use Global Search to automate the AR process for our online payments system. The document capture workflows are very easy to set up with no programming at all in a drag and drop web browser interface. The software is constantly being updated to add new features, including AI for smart document capture Cons Hosted environment is too pricey, but the on prem is perfect for us. One of the limitations I find is the lack of advanced customization options in the user interface. I would like more flexibility to tailor the look and feel and functionality of the platform to specific needs. Some of the nodes are a little complicated and the online training is not available. The user interface could be more modern and intuitive. Initial setup can be a bit complex for smaller teams. Although I do believe we get special pricing based on our organization which is non-profit, we can only afford a single CPU license for our on-prem setup for document processing which makes things a little slow. So depending on what volumes you need to process, you can get a backlog of documents in the capture cue waiting to be processed. In an ideal situation where funds are unlimited, we would likely utilize their cloud solution with additional CPU cores and also the AI add-on for more efficient document capture.		Pros from Real Users Pros End-to-end document management, from printing to archiving, with all steps in between. I am constantly amazed at the thought and depth that goes into this product suite. I love all the useful features embedded in this software. Using rule files I can create custom forms and read/write data directly from/to BBx files from BASIS International. I can add documents to the archive and create cross-referenced links to other documents. I can even use the internal object-oriented programming to do more operations. Everything is spelled out nicely in the documentation and when I need help beyond that, I get timely answers through their support ticket system. I haven't had a chance to use the DocFlow document routing system yet, but look forward to it. Easy to use. Create the forms in MS Word and save as a PDF or PCL in minutes. Not sure what programmer needed this crap for, but it's biting us in the butt now. I suppose some small part of our solution uses it to generate reports of some kind. But likely better options exist now and likely existed when it was first made too. I like the flexibility the most, if you can dream it up in your head you can do it with UnForm. When I first started in using it in 2001 I installed the software, learned enough to be useful and was producing documents with it by the end of the first day. Since then I have used it for many clients, saving a lot of money on forms costs and eventually doing things we had never done before, such as document archiving. Unform is an all-in-one solution for document markup, archiving, scanning, and workflow. It's easy to program, robust, and the tools get better every version. Easy To Use and Very Flexible to setup in connection with Acumatica - easy installation wizard that allows deployment to users.
