About

Media companies earn 235% more on Rokfin. By tapping into the power of a consortium subscription, you can drive predictable and substantial monthly revenue by not only acquiring subscribers from within your network but also by providing value to users who discover your content on the platform. Other networks hold all the user data that you’ve acquired through the building and marketing your channel, and if you get kicked off the platform or decide to leave, years of work building that audience base goes down the drain. At Rokfin, you own the customer relationship. Rokfin’s creator dashboard allows you the ability to populate and download your email list of followers so that you do not have to rely on a platform login to connect with your biggest fans. Bundling your content with other Rokfin channels makes your value offering more compelling for users. Reach a deeper audience with a broader package so that your fans stay hooked on similar content every single day of the week.

About

Rumble.com is an open video platform that sits on a rights management technology. This rights management technology is a machine learning DRM algorithm called Rumble Rank, which automatically scales verification, clearance, discovery and licensing for social (UGC) video. In less than 3 years, the company is now a top 50 video destination according to ComScore. Due to legal concerns (the Viacom lawsuit), YouTube paved way for rights management companies to manage videos on their platform; known as Multi Channel Networks (MCN's). By giving up rights management, YouTube is unable to algorithmically scale rights management, they can't provide agnostic distribution, and they can't allow publishers to take part in video embed revenue. ITunes, Netflix, and Amazon all have basic DRM's (Digital Rights Management) for long form content owned by a few studios, but no one has solved DRM for billions of videos now being produced by the masses.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Not much so far. I liked it it worked eventually yesterday for day one of the Collegiate wrestling duels
  • Can't see any yet... I paid but cannot find the upload content button.

Cons

  • This app is a pile of crap. I subscribed specifically to watch the Collegiate wrestling duels that are on the 21st and 22nd, after numerous tries and over a half an hour I finally was able to get on the 21st and watch it thankfully I could rewind and start from the beginning. Today is day two and no matter what I do including clearing cookies and cache, putting their app in my phone, being on Wi-Fi or on mobile data nothing seems to work to get it to come on. I get a message telling me the page isn't real or it's just a black screen or part of the page comes up and the little circles go round and round for eternity and I cannot get it to broadcast. What it did open up part of the page I was able to see comments and it would appear that anyone trying to use this thing is pretty disappointed and it's not working. Good way to ruin someone's afternoon I want my money back.
  • I signed up, paid subscription and can not even easily see how to upload content. I signed up to be a creator.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Varies of the content in the good quality. Nice and clean design. Everything nice until I found out that they are censored ! IMO, BitChute is the way better free speech platform
  • YouTube alternative. Free speech at the very start for a while. Didn't ban people for a while. Didn't lie to people for a while.
  • Even with the free trial, I could upload videos and this platform really does support free speech. I could see totally logical views here on this platform which were banished from the mainstream media.

Cons

  • Not the real free speech platform, Some channel that I'm following get banished, and its centralized structure allows content to be easily censored at the click of a button, whether by the company itself or under government pressure. This reality means it cannot truly be considered a free speech platform, so don't be misled into thinking otherwise.
  • Infringes on human rights. Bans people for wrongthink. Disappears videos without warning.
  • Needs improvement in design aspect. Everything else is ok.
