About

Reasonix is an open source coding agent designed for long autonomous sessions that remain readable, auditable, and reversible. One local engine powers four interfaces: terminal, desktop app, browser, and ACP-compatible editors, with sessions, permissions, skills, and MCP servers shared across them. Plan mode holds every write until the proposed steps are reviewed and approved, while reads, writes, and shell commands are separately gated and constrained by a workspace sandbox. Each turn creates a checkpoint outside Git, allowing users to rewind a long run without affecting commit history. MCP support over stdio, SSE, and streamable HTTP merges external tools into one registry, while Markdown skills and isolated subagents extend the agent without requiring a fork. Reasonix maps a codebase once and keeps that map throughout the session, letting users queue tasks, review diffs, and resume work without losing context.

About

Tetrees AI is an Agent-Asset Exchange for portable agent intelligence. AI Packs use the TAIP/1 format and run above hosted or BYOK foundation models. Buyers search published Packs, quote a run, preview with Points, then acquire to unlock download, BYOK, saved growth checkpoints and owner-approved memory. Makers upload a Pack, pass Agent AVCP, and publish only the signed passing artifact. Tetrees MCP is one authenticated stdio server for search, acquire, run, grow, checkpoint and publish. Browse and MCP connect are free. Hosted runs use Tetrees Points. BYOK keys are never stored.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • I mainly like the fact that I can start with a simple description instead of immediately thinking about every piece of code I need to write. TETREES AI gives me something to work from, and I can then inspect the files, use the terminal, and make my own changes. The preview also makes it easier to catch things that don't look or behave the way I expected.
  • What I like most is how easy it is to go from an idea to something I can actually work with. I can explain what I want in plain language and use the generated code as a starting point. The live preview is useful because I can see changes without jumping between too many tools. I also like having the terminal and file structure available when I need to take over and make changes myself.

Cons

  • The interface can take a little time to get familiar with when you're first using it. There are several things available, so I had to spend some time figuring out where everything fits into my usual development process. Once I got used to it, it became much easier to work with.
  • I wouldn't rely on the generated code without checking it. There are times when I have to adjust the prompt or clean up parts of the code before I'm happy with the result. That's not really a dealbreaker for me, but it's something developers should expect.
