About
QALIPSIS is a load and performance testing platform for software teams validating distributed applications and services. Developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams can define scenarios using a Java-based DSL, run tests with distributed load generators, and review results through a web interface. The platform supports testing HTTP services, messaging systems, and databases, with plugins for workload execution and integrations for exporting test data. Teams can run QALIPSIS in a self-managed environment or use its cloud service, and automate tests within CI/CD workflows. Reports and monitoring help teams examine response times, throughput, errors, and system behavior under load, supporting performance analysis and regression testing across application components.

About
Spitfire is a self-hosted load-testing and performance-monitoring platform for DevOps, QA, and SRE teams. It runs on customer infrastructure with Docker or Kubernetes, with remote runners in multiple locations that dial out without inbound ports. Users build tests without scripting in a browser-based editor or import OpenAPI, Postman, HAR, k6, and JMeter files. A test can combine HTTP, gRPC, WebSocket, Kafka, MQTT, SQL, and real browser users. Run tests as low-load production monitors every 1–60 minutes, with drift detection, SLOs, error budgets, and a status page, or as staged distributed load tests to find breaking points and performance bottlenecks. OpenTelemetry data and alerts from Datadog, New Relic, Dynatrace, Zabbix, and Instana help investigate slowdowns. A/B version comparisons can serve as CI release gates. Spitfire also includes a production-write guard, SSO/SCIM, audit logs, and offline licensing for air-gapped installations. A free edition has no expiration.
