I got ProtonMail's VPN to better protect myself online, and I'm happy to say that unlike some of the other free VPN solutions out there, ProtonMail actually works! I tried looking up my IP address before and after, and the geolocation feature definitely works. Did not receive any warning prior to running out of data. Having to tweet about it to get data, and then telling me they can't find it when it's clearly posted.
